After a fairly busy Saturday, we decided on a whim to dine at Applebee's for dinner, and were pleased that we did. We arrived in the late afternoon/early evening and we were seated immediately in the moderately crowded restaurant. Our server was extremely pleasant, and brought our drinks promptly, and allowed us some time to choose from a varied menu. For appetizers, we ordered Brew Pub Pretzels and Beer Cheese Dip, and a bowl of tomato basil soup. The former consisted of four soft and hot pretzel sticks with the dip and a side of delicious honey mustard sauce. There was plenty of dip available even after the pretzels were devoured. The soup was also delicious and highly recommended. The main entrees were pretty good. The 4-cheese Mac and Cheese with honey pepper chicken strips was adequate, but somewhat bland. I had to really mix up the pasta, as all the cheese sauce rested at the very bottom, and I didn't even taste the pepper flavor on the strips, which had more batter than chicken. Once the pasta was tossed, cheese sauce was more pronounced and saved the meal otherwise. The Oriental Grilled Chicken salad was decent, but unlike the pasta, was a tad salty. Strawberries were added, which fortunately offset the saltines, and again, turned out to be adequate. If there were a 3½ star rating, I would have chosen that. Overall, the meal was decent, but some improvements could be made. We didn't regret our dining choice, but with a lot of competing restaurants in the immediate area, we probably won't visit again for a while.

I enjoyed it. They were very helpful from the start by opening the door for us. Greating and seating us in a quiet yet suitable spot for a family with a baby and another child. The server was very efficient and helpful with her tending to is and knowledge of the menu. Also had employees enjoying the baby and complimenting us on the beautiful family we had. Was a very nice calming soothing atmosphere. The food was exactly peecise to the menu and enjoyable to every taste bud. Was presented well and they even prewarned us by telling us that the skillet was very hot. That I thought was very helpful and great advice knowing your server didn't just drop off the food and leave. She cared about is for that time as her customers. The only thing which is most common in many restaurants is waiting for the check and boxes. That's always the worst and that's the only thing I would have to say wasn't by favorite part of our dinning experience. Other then that it was a pleasant trip to Apple bees.

Great service, ordinary food at a good price. Updating this review a year later, because we went back to use a gift card. I gave it three stars before; it doesn't pretend to be fine dining and can't really compete with that. But for what it is, it does just fine. And it earned those extra stars back today because the manager (?) was excellent at handling my food allergy, and very clearly could have handled any other dietary need equally well. The food was good; I had shrimp fajitas, and my partner had all-you-can-eat fried shrimp. My portion was ample enough that I needed a box even though I'm stuffed. The dining area (bar zone) and ladies' room are clean, and our server was friendly and responsive. Pretty good for a comfort-food chain, I'd say - and definitely worth updating my review to add a couple well-earned stars!

From the moment we were seated it was wonderful .... now I know we all know these establishments are chains and may never go quite the same but this was the best time I have had at an applebee's since entering adulthood šŸ˜†.

Our server Annarose was very cheerful and vibrant and also very attentive and thoughtful she even refreshed the drinks well before they had run out and remembered I had wanted another lemonade flavor so she asked me if I wanted to try the other or stick with the flavor I had initially. We were pleased with the service from the wait staff as well our food came out appetizers first we had the sampler (cause you can never go wrong with variety) the only thing missing was a sour cream but that was easily mended so no qualms there.

We weren't too far into enjoyment of the appetizers when our main courses had shown up. I came for the 1$ shripm with the any steak entrƩe (we were originally going to do a 2 for 30$ but the rules unbeknownst to the consumer no 1$ shrimp when picking the steak entrƩe).

Needless to say I was amazed I asked for a medium rare steak and got just that my entrée was the Steak parm with the shrimp (I love shrimp/seafood ok 🤣 don't judge me) my only minor issue is there was not a lemon wedge for my 1$ shrimp and I didn't ask for one but I probably could/should have. Hubby got the Bourbon Chicken Shrimp entrée we ate till our bellies were just about full and still had leftovers to box and take home of both the appz and the entrées.

Thank you Applebee's for the lovely birthday dinner. I couldn't have been happier with my visit and my food as well as pristine service. I appreciate you and your hard work (as a former bartender, food and beverage indusry worker and also the child of a single mother whom waited tables and did banqueting most of my life) I was astonished as well as impressed keep up...

My husband and I decided to visit Applebee’s for dinner, hoping for a pleasant evening out. Unfortunately, our experience turned out to be the worst dining experience we’ve ever had.

When we arrived, we opted to sit at the bar, and initially, we were excited about the lively atmosphere. However, that excitement quickly faded as we found ourselves largely ignored for an extended period. After what felt like an eternity, a server finally approached us and handed us menus.

Once we placed our orders, we expected the typical wait time for our meals, but as the minutes ticked by, we found ourselves growing increasingly impatient. After more than 40 minutes of waiting, we still hadn’t received our food. Feeling frustrated, we decided to inquire about the delay. When we asked the bartender about our order, we were informed that there had been a mistake in the kitchen concerning our burgers. This left us baffled; we couldn’t understand how something as straightforward as burgers could go awry.

What made matters even more disheartening was the sight of another customer seated at the bar. They had ordered their meal well after us, yet their food arrived long before ours. This added salt to the wound and compounded our frustration as we watched their meal being served while we sat empty-handed.

Eventually, the manager came over to address the situation. She apologized sincerely for the mishap and offered to package our meals to-go. However, after everything we had endured that evening, we chose to decline her offer. The entire experience was utterly unacceptable, and it was clear that our night out had turned into an ordeal we would rather forget. I can confidently say that I will NEVER return to this Applebee's...

The greeter couldn't seem to hear our request for 2 menus because we weren't staying, she was too busy looking across the room doing whatever she was doing. Minutes later she says follow me, my companion corrected her that we'd asked for menus, which she still didn't give us, he had to ask again; as I quietly began to boil. We got the menus and she told us to go over to the to go sign & the girl there would take our order. A guy was helping other customers, not us. The girl who greeted keep walking by us, and the one who was supposed to take our order never spoke a word to us she also just kept walking by us. Another customer walked in asking questions & she got answers from the same staff that didn't help us. My companion lost it before I did (thank God), I asked him if he wanted to leave he said yes I turned & walked back to the front door, before I could get out of the door my companion called me back. He was letting the staff know that they were ignoring us, now 4 staff members were there trying to talk their way out of it. I stayed quiet, because I'm the worst of the two of us!!!!! My companion made our case known to the staff & we finally got to place our order. After we did, then I began to speak with my companion; first thanking him for speaking in our behalf. Then letting him know he should have been with me when I started walking out, the other customer watched silently from the table across from us; until he decided we should get some air. I've never been treated so poorly in a restaurant and I truly thank God Almighty for His Son & my King Jesus....... old me........ well thank God...
