Senunas' Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Wilkes-Barre

The food was very good, the atmosphere is nice. The prices are reasonable. The service isn't so great. I know plenty of people that have had a wonderful experience at Senunas, but there are also many people that did not, such as me. Some friends took me along. I had never been there before, but I had heard overall good things about it.

It was pretty much empty when I walked in. The night life wasn't out and about yet. I ordered food, but it was out of stock. That wasn't a problem, except I was charged first, then after paying was told they were out. It was wing night ($0.50 a wing) so I ordered a price equivalent for those. Well, it's 40 minutes later and still no wings. Everyone else at my table had been served and people that had walked in more than 15 minutes after me had all been served. I told a worker and finally got my wings. The next surprise was that instead of getting my money's worth, I was short 4 wings. By now I was extremely frustrated. Everyone else at my table was done eating and waiting for me.That was embarrassing enough, and I didn't have time to wait to get more because I had a college class at 6. I am 24 years old and was asked to provide government ID once again after entering the bar. After showing my government ID it was claimed to be fake by the bouncer (Joe Giannella) and had asked me to leave. Mind you my government ID is 100% real and could have called the cops to verify the legitimacy. Never have felt more unwelcome after the new hires especially from the person named Joe. Completely ruined the experience for me and definitely do not plan on returning. Highly recommend any other bars in the surrounding area for a better experience. I haven't eaten here yet but I'd really like to. The food I've seen looks and smells good. As a bar, this place in very nice. It's large, open, and well lit. There are bar games like pool and shuffle board so it's a good place for a group. The drinks are reasonably priced. Smoking is not allowed inside (I was shocked to find that wasn't the rule everywhere here). Bartenders have so far all been friendly and not at all creepy. Most importantly, as a not particularly intimidating 5'1" woman, I'd feel totally fine about going here to have a drink or...
