King of Kings Gyros and Cheesesteak Factory — Restaurant in Wilkes-Barre

I am giving a five for the food and the service we were given. The chicken gyros was fantastic andhe owner was so friendly and interactive with his customers. At the time we were there, a young tween came in by himself and ordered a gyro but when asked if he wanted a drink , the boy asked the price and then said no quietly. The owner said he was giving him a Pepsi on him. The boy was happily surprised. We were too. Then we found out he had upgraded our gyros just because he felt like it. He was amazing not because he gave things away but because he cared about his customers and not the bottom line. He did that with smile and a broken air conditioner. We need more independent restaurants such as King of KingsGyros.The only downside to the restaurant, it is tiny and has only 3 tables (2 each). Plan to take out or wait for a table. So I went the 2nd day of opening. I was overcharged accidentally for a cheesesteak and noticed it only after I got home. I explained that to one of the Managers and he gave me partial refund for the overcharge, 50% off the next sandwich, and a $1 coupon for the next order!

I very much appreciate the superb customer service and I am so glad this got resolved so that I can keep going back. Their cheesesteak sandwich is amazing and I have tried many different ones from all over Public Square Wilkes Barre area. Its THE BREAD! The bread is so delish, so fluffy, so soft, and does not have that doughy taste. The meat is perfect, very juicy, and has the perfect amount of cheese. Their condiment station is amazing and includes any sauce or dip you desire.

Went there this afternoon for the first time. Ordered a king gyro with extra sauce. The vertical rotisserie meat looked very pale and was not actually even on. Instead i was tonged meat out of an electric hot plate steamer pan, and the gyro was not king sized looking. Extra sauce looked like regular sauce. The meat was dry and bland and rubbery texture and also had a chemical utensil cleaner taste to it. I kept trying to give it a chance but after the third bite i threw it in the garbage, and went to longhorn. I never had a problem with notis brand gyros, and would never go back to this place.
