The worst experience of my life at a restaurant was at this particular Chick-fil-A..... They had a end of school year party and they had a water slide and stuff and I took my daughter thought it would be fun..... Well inside in the playground area they have a spot for toddlers And there's a huge sign that says under 3 to play here.... And I had my 11 month old baby in there and I was sitting there with her (, the sign also says the parents are welcome to play with their kids in the area) well there was this pack of wild hoodlums running through the toddler area and one of the boys knocked my little baby over and then the other one trampled over her.... The mothers did not do anything so I went to the manager and told her what had happened..... She walked in there and told the other kids to play nice and that's it she did not say nothing to the mothers or anything.... Well I didn't think it was fair for my little girl to have to leave because of them so we continue playing and again the kids ran through there again and I had to snatch my daughter out of the way before they hurt her again, I went back and told the manager what had happened that they were still playing in the toddler area when they were definitely not toddlers they had to be at least 12 or 13 years old which is in my opinion way too big to be playing on a little kid playgrounds anyways.... At this point in the manager said that there was nothing she could do.... And we got into an argument because I told her that she's the manager she should be able to go in there and tell the parents to keep their kids out of the toddler area because there is a huge sign that says that you must be under 3 to play here, again the manager insisted that there was nothing she could do so I walked out and I have told everybody not to go back here... The manager was extremely rude to me through this whole process, and acted like she had better things to do.... If my little girl had gotten hurt I would have definitely...
Read moreI really don't eat here , but this day I gave in and I really regret it . Let's start off by saying I am a black person , which is to me always a bad sign any where I go due to society and their beliefs in races in Wilkes. I go here to eat instantly I get ignored but the couple that came in after me got happily greeted . 2nd , there's an older like lady that works the front counter and instead of asking me could she take my order , she proceeds to look at me and asked can she help me ... ok she older I let that slide , but to have the others in there , including that bald headed manager in there looking me up and down as If I don't belong there .. that was the icing on the cake . I gave in and told them to throw the order away , and that was after I paid for it and I just left . I haven't been back there since and I will not let my kids go there . My kids are bi racial and to feel that type of energy in that establishment is bothering to me , especially since the owners are supposed to be REAL church going people . I just figured they'd hire people to work in their establishments with the same beliefs . Not to look at me after I paid almost $65 for 5 combos and told them to throw it away because the vibe felt disgusting. I pray they fix the problems they have with SOME people because I'd hav4 to see an establishment closed down due to management's and employees racial beliefs . Just know I ain't never hurt anybody I would respect if I got the same treatment and that includes from places I spend my hard earned money at ! Sorry for the rant , but some places...
