Absolutely HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! I had parked my small utility trailer in 2 vehicle spaces in an upper lot from the 1/2 empty parking lot outside the entrance. I parked NEXT to a truck with a long utility trailer. We were greeted at the entrance by an employee asking us to move to the VERY FAR lot. I complied. Once in the hall, I asked to see a MANAGER. I wanted to suggest that a sign indicating the CORRECT parking lot would be EXTREMELY HELPFUL, and would have saved me extra trips in the hot sun. I also had a problem with it being ok for a vehicle larger than mine be allowed to remain parked in the same lot I was told to move from. (SEE PHOTO). I waited for what seemed an excessive amount of time and told the security fella Larry to cancel my request to see the manager. I just wouldn't be returning if pulling my trailer. I have stopped in a few other times and had a pleasant experience, even though the payout from the machines seemed to be very low. I would love for the TOP MANAGER to see the footage from September 17th, aprox 1PM to see how I was treated by "manager" JENN. I enquired as to why they wouldn't avoid the issue I just encountered by placing signs directing "oversized vehicles" to the far lot?? The manager that had approached me in the players club line (learned her name is Jenn, )said "the management doesn't want to trash up the place with signs." I have to admit, that wasn't a very professional answer!! When I asked why the other vehicle was allowed to remain parked there, she became very angry and told me to leave immediately. With shock and disbelief, the situation escalated to "you will be arrested if you ever step foot on HER property again." When I asked to speak to the hall manager, she said she was it. When I asked for her name, she kept twisting her body so that I couldn't see it. I've been in customer service all my working life. I have NEVER encountered someone who is supposedly "in charge" to act so rude and VERY UNPROFESSIONALLY. I would appreciate someone contacting me in regards to this matter. Thanks. In the photo, you will see where I had to relocate. I'm the black SUV/trailer. I had been parked next to the white truck/trailer prior to being asked to relocate.

My first experience was great. We went on a weekday early and spent 4 hours having fun. My issue was with the second trip. I was delivering equipment in Corbin so stopped by driving an empty day cab single-axel truck. I was told I could not park in their lot. There was a gated-off gravel lot they offered to open and give me a golf cart ride. The employee was only doing his job but my frustration is with the management. It was 10 am on a Wednesday with about 20 cars in the lot and I parked off to the side in an empty section. I would understand this policy for weekends/evenings/ or when busy but 45mins in the morning to grab some food and play for a few mins should be an exception. My boss also had issues when pulling a camper and arriving on a weekday morning. If you are in a regular vehicle and have no trailer I'll give it a 5stars experience anything larger except a hassle with parking.

The Backyard inside The Mint Gaming Hall is a pleasant surprise. The burger really hits the mark—juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked just how you like it, tucked into a soft toasted bun that actually holds together. Fresh toppings like crisp lettuce, ripe tomato, and melted cheese keep things classic. The atmosphere is what really makes it. Despite being connected to the gaming hall, The Backyard feels relaxed and welcoming like hanging out in a friend’s backyard than in a casino. There’s plenty of space to kick back, big TVs showing the latest games, and a friendly staff that keeps things running smoothly. Whether you’re grabbing a quick meal or making it part of your night out, The Backyard’s burger is worth the stop. It’s simple, satisfying comfort food served in a fun, laid-back spot

As an OTR truck driver several things peek my interest. 1.) Acceptable ways to spend my time and my money. 2.) Respect for myself and those around me. 3.) Precise and easily understood rules and regulations. (Either read or stated)

Arriving in the parking lot of THE MINT casino I looked for any indication that my kind (Truck Driver) was not wanted. Not seeing such a sign I took it as a "Driver's we appreciate all you do for us. Please feel welcome to park here and take in all the beauty and wonderment that our establishment holds." I had a couple drinks ( knowing I was here for a 10 hour break per DOT (rule 3 above) After gambling and winning I returned to the confines of my truck to sleep the remainder of my off duty time. I was awakened by man stating I couldn't stay there it is private property. I let him know I didn't see any signs stating that and it would not be a good idea to move considering my light level of inebriation. He informed me he didn't care that I was given drinks and that there are no indications to the private property rules and he was going to call the "PD" if I didn't remove my truck off the property immediately. The place wasn't even closed yet. 500 parking places, 10 cars on the parking lot. Plenty of room left. So moral of the story if you don't want citizens who drive really large vehicles who have an over abundance of money and time to frequent your establishment where they would happily spend both I suggest you DON'T DO what THE MINT casino has done. Just do us all a favor and save us both time and money and PUT UP SIGNS stating DO NOT PARK AT THE MINT CASINO. Security guard Whitman: Thanks for all you do for your company. I am sure they appreciate how you handle...
