I recently dropped by Jersey Mike's Subs in Willis, TX, and I'm pleased to share my experience, which I'd rate at a solid four stars out of five.

From the moment I walked in, the inviting aroma of freshly baked bread and the friendly greetings from the staff set a positive tone for my visit. The menu variety was impressive, offering a range of mouthwatering options to satisfy different tastes and preferences. It's evident that Jersey Mike's takes pride in their commitment to crafting quality subs.

The sub I ordered was delicious and generously filled with flavorful ingredients. The freshness of the vegetables and the quality of the meats were noticeable, and I appreciated the option to customize my sub to my liking. The taste was great overall; however, there were a couple of small areas where I felt the flavors could have been even more balanced.

The service was efficient, and my order was prepared in a timely manner. The staff members were attentive and ensured that my order was accurate, which I truly appreciate in a fast-casual setting.

The only aspect that held me back from awarding a full five stars was the seating arrangement and overall atmosphere. The seating area felt a bit cramped, and the noise level was a tad higher than expected. A more spacious and cozy setting could greatly enhance the overall dining experience.

Never order online. This place is poorly managed. Like other reviewers mentioned, it takes them 35-40 mins. to get your app order ready for 2 cold subs! They also cook out of order. I don't understand this as there were 5 employees working at the time. They should have 1 employee dedicated to filling online orders IMO. They have 3 prep areas and 2 slicers. I sat there and watched them for 30 mins. while I was waiting on my order that was supposed to be ready at 12:09 but wasn't until 12:27. My bag was the only one left waiting to be filled left on the counter, then an employee put 4 more bags out in front of it and filled one before mine. Because of that, I would bet there were many orders that came in after mine that were filled first based on time I had been waiting and the fact that every single online order was filled before mine. There was another lady there that had been there longer than me who just got her order shortly before mine. She looked unhappy too. All the pick-up customers, like me, waited at least 15 minutes before they even started filling any of our orders. They were only making in-store customer orders. There were at least 15 walk-in customers that got food while I was waiting. At least they gave me a free drink & coupons for 2 free subs because I kept asking about my order. Tonight was our first opportunity to eat at Jersey Mike’s. We went to the shop in Willis. Everything about the experience was fabulous! The employees were personable and helpful. Every employee behind the counter interacted with us pleasantly. The Subs were truly amazing and fully filled in the correct proportions for the perfect sandwich. The atmosphere was laid back and employees spoke to us and other customers throughout the meal like we were friends. They also seemed to genuinely enjoy working with one another as they communicated. Josh was chatty and gave detailed explanations of multiple options and sandwich variations. The watermelon tea was utterly delicious and a perfect compliment to the meal. I was a skeptic (not thinking of a Sub as a supper meal) but an now am an absolute fan. We will certainly be returning and sharing our experience with our family...
