Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Willis

Visited last week and the gentleman who took my order was patient and friendly. Quick service, and delicious food. Visited again this week after placing an order on the CFA One app on my phone. I specifically placed the order at 10:20 because I wanted breakfast items and didn't think I'd arrive by 10:30. The app told me my order was done and paid for. When I got to the store, they didn't have my order. I opened it up on my phone and got an error message, saying the order did not go through. I asked if there was anyway they could still get me some breakfast items (at 10:31) and she said the kitchen was done. So, my husband and I ordered lunch items instead. But I was definitely disappointed. Someone noticed and we found in our bag a "complimentary breakfast sample." I 100% understand that glitches with the app are not this store's fault, and I understand the need for businesses to have consistency (i.e. no breakfast at 10:31). I was never mad or upset with the staff, but I genuinely appreciate that someone noticed I was disappointed to have arrived a little too late and that they did...

Today's visit I ordered carry-out to eat in so that my food would be ready when I arrived and I could avoid any line to hang with friends and small children. I was two minutes out (didn't have location on) but said I was at restaurant. By the time I arrived, found parking (lot was full, pouring rain) and got inside, it was well over 5 minutes. When I went inside, order wasn't ready, but they got my coffee (lukewarm) and creamer while I waited. My friends got in line and ordered while I was waiting for mine. Their table service came to them while I was still waiting for my carryout ( a breakfast sandwich, fruit). I asked about it and they said they would check. It was sitting there waiting, along with other orders, and also lukewarm. I rarely eat in a CFA anymore, but this is not my normal experience for any CFA, so I'm hoping this was an exception. THIS chick-fil-a in particular is second to none! I have been to chick-fil-a’s all over Texas and the one at willis is always on point. If the drive through line is curved around the building, don’t hesitate to stop in because these managers have the process down to a T and your wait will not be long. Usually I joke with my husband about never having to hold the break on my car when I come here (I do have to, but they get people in and out so quickly that you’re literally depressing the break for a few seconds it seems and then you’re rolling forward as the next car has left). The food is always smoking hot and fresh. The staff has always been exceptionally friendly. They have several people working the window all at the same time so that your payment is taken and you are given your drinks while the cashier gets your receipt. And then someone else comes with your food. It’s literally THAT fast y’all! Props to whoever the manager is for a very organized process...
