JUST GET A NEW PHONE
I don’t normally leave review but I had to on this one. I went to get my phone fix and the guy quoted me $300 in order to replace the the battery, the phone speaker and the charging port. My wife told me to just buy a new phone but I decided against it (worst mistake). Since this was an iPhone 12 mini he didn’t have phone speaker and battery on hand so he said he could order it and get it install the next day. Because of the nature of my job I couldn’t make it in the next day and I came back 45 days later. This was my fault and I owned it.
When I walked in I reminded him who I was and apologized for not being able make it in due to the nature of my work. I reminded him that the battery and speaker was not installed and the mic still was not working. He looked in his system, verified that I did pay $300 and then said there was no note in the system saying that the parts were not installed and then acted like he didn’t remember who i was. He then reluctantly said he could replace the phone speaker because I told him not to worry about the battery (due to me feeling bad for coming in late) he then said that would be $99. I was in disbelief. The worst part was that there was another customer there and I honestly was trying to keep everything quiet for his business sake.
He then turns to the other customer saying “if you come after 3 month you can’t expect me to remember who you are etc… this made me very upset because for one I was just trying to keep things between us.
He then took my phone after he realized that I was getting upset and said I can replace it for you after complaining about it taking 45 mins. He then made a smart comment saying he didn’t even know if I paid the $300. This sent me through the roof and I demanded my phone. At this point he started to say he could fix it for me and I said no please give me my phone.
I told him it’s not even about the money any more for me. I should t feel this way dealing with anyone doing business. I run a business and I know how important customer service is. You don’t argue with your customers in front of...

But then I saw the sign for laptop computers. I had a Lenovo ThinkPad which I really liked but which had died (ya, I’m a track point lover). And, it was out of warranty. I was informed that the mother board had failed. This was depressing, it was an expensive computer and I had a 1 Tb hard drive on it.
Fortunately, I was advised that it may be possible to secure another mother board with warranty still on the mother board, however it might take a couple of months. It required money upfront, but I was assured (with a written receipt) that if a new mother board could not be found, I would get my money back.
Money up front is not usually a deal I’m comfortable with. But it was ½ the price of a new equivalent computer. So, I went with it.
Cell Geeks came thru. In 1 ½ months they found a new mother board with warranty still left on it and, they registered it in my computer’s name. Now I have the option of extending the warranty if I choose to do so. And, my ThinkPad has been running as good as ever for the last month.
From my experience, if you have a laptop computer that is not working, Willis Cell Geeks will find a way to fix it and you will come out ahead. Just...
Read moreWell that’s the last time I’ll be in there, already when I go in there I feel so pressured to buy something with in 10 minutes and every 10 minutes after that. Looking at phone cases at least with my fiance takes some time, and she’s constantly questioned what phone she’s looking for, when she’s gotten cases from him before, all of which have cracked and broken with in a year with minimal use, cheap quality. And then when I want to go look at some of the trinkets that they chose to leave outside of the box, for what I assume to allow you to see how it works. After trying to open the trinket toy, and it’s not working, now I’m being gentle with this, not destroying it, or using any excessive force, it just wouldn’t open. Out of no where he starts asking me “what are you trying to do??” Even though he knows I’ve been trying to open it cause he gave me instructions to open it! When I tell him it still won’t open, he says “well either buy it and I’ll show you or put it down cause I’m not gonna show you till you buy it” With that attitude and low quality cases he sells I’m not trusting this trinket to work after I’m pressured to buy it.
