I recently visited Aromas of India by Sarita's Kitchen after work for a solo dining experience, and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience that I can’t wait to repeat.
The food was exceptional. I started with the Samosa, which was perfectly crisp on the outside and filled with a deliciously spiced mixture of potatoes and peas. For the entrée, I chose the Kaju Khoya with a medium-hot spice level, and it was everything I hoped for. The creamy, flavorful gravy combined with the richness of the cashews created a dish that was both satisfying and memorable. The Garlic Naan was the perfect accompaniment, freshly prepared with just the right amount of garlic, making each bite a fragrant and flavorful delight. I paired the meal with a Mango Lassi, which was wonderfully creamy and refreshing.
The service was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and efficient. Even though I was dining solo, I felt warmly welcomed and well taken care of throughout my meal.
The ambiance of the restaurant is cozy and inviting, with a warm, family-friendly atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. One interesting fact about Aromas of India by Sarita's Kitchen is that it is a family-owned business, which is evident in the care and love they put into both the food and the overall dining experience.
Overall, Aromas of India by Sarita's Kitchen offers a fantastic culinary journey that I highly recommend. This was my first visit, but it certainly...
Read moreI just moved to Vermont and tonight I stumbled upon this amazing Indian restaurant. It kept popping out, but it was vegetarian so I never took the time to look into it. Today I drove there, and I WILL NOT PUT THIS LIGHTLY : THIS PLACE IS A GEM. They will know me by name. The food is just out of this world! They've got this myriad of options for dishes. I am accustomed to eat at Indian restaurant for decades, and this one its UP THERE competing at the top of the list. Northern indian inspired with a lot of classic and more rare options. Beyond delicious, the people making this food deserves all accolades. Memorable.
Even though it was full of people on a Friday night, the owner and the staff were incredibly nice, which honestly left me and the other people there a bit surprised, in a really good way! Everyone was being told that the food and tables were going to take a while, no one left. Whoever left, missed an opportunity. I decide to takeout, and here's the kicker – they actually called me to make sure my order was just how I wanted it. That level of service, especially when they're so busy, is pretty rare and made me feel super welcome.
All in all, this restaurant JUST become my go-to in Vermont. The people here are so polite and the food is just ridiculously good. If you're on the hunt for amazing Indian (vegetarian) food and a friendly, welcoming place, believe me and come for...

The service was nothing short of exceptional. The staff were not only attentive and courteous, but also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu.
Every dish was freshly prepared, beautifully presented, and exploding with authentic flavors.
We started with the Spinach Pakora and Gobi Manchurian — both absolutely delicious. The pakoras were light and crispy, not oily at all, with a perfect seasoning that brought out the earthiness of the spinach. The Gobi Manchurian was crisp on the outside, tender on the inside, and tossed in a flavorful Indo-Chinese sauce that had just the right amount of heat and tang.
For the mains, the Haryali Paneer was melt-in-your-mouth delicious — perfectly marinated in a vibrant, herbaceous blend of mint, coriander, and spices, then grilled to smoky perfection. It was hands down one of the best versions I’ve ever had.
The Lacha Paratha was delightfully flaky with just the right crispness on the outside and soft, buttery layers inside — the perfect accompaniment to soak up every last bit of flavor on the plate.
Overall, this is the best Indian restaurant in Vermont! Highly recommended — we can’t...
