Turner Toys — Local services in Williston

My husband loves this store and always told me to go shop there one day for gifts. I ended up going the week of Christmas. Surprisingly, the shelves were mainly all stacked with toys! I was very happy to find that there were toys of different ages. I noticed that many toys for babies and toddlers were active and fun toys. The types that could teach and strengthen a child's learning capabilities without all those overly-expensive electronic toys now a days. Toys that I wished I could have found for my child when he was a toddler. As you get to the younger girl and boy selections, you have "fun activity" kind of toys. Many project-types. Such as Legos, buildings, experiments, and crafting. I ended up buying my two nieces a few crafting kits. Two sets were to make marble-looking pendants, others was making their own smelling-soap. Sadly, their barbie section wasn't large, but that's okay. They had small amount of nice-branded looking baby dolls. For teens and adults, they had landscaping models, large lego sets, experimental kits, ect.ect. their lego wall was also quite stacked, but I wasn't surprised since I was seeing the few employees they had restocking shelves.

Note to self: next year, come for lego sets.

The only downfall is: it can easily get crowded since it's not a big store, BUT their choice of stocked toys were great!

But I was very satisfied with the items I saw; And to top it off: Once I got to the counter, the lady was very polite. Not the grumpy and in-a-rush "we got a line" kind of attitude.

I will be coming here again for many gifts and random toys...

Called around looking for a sold out Melissa and Doug toy. No where had it. Another local toy shop in the area told me turners toys did. I called and was able to seamlessly purchase it right then and there while on the phone by placing an online order to ensure I got the toy as I had to travel almost two hours to pick it up. The sales associate I spoke with was so helpful and absolutely great. They really understand the importance of how one toy can make or break a kids Christmas. It just blew my mind they had the toy that was out of stock on back order until February ! Please support local toy stores Iike this because they honestly deserve it ! I was also amazed at how their price was better by almost 20% than the actual website of the toy company ! I had never heard of this toy store until today but they now have a lifetime customer. The lady even brought the toy out to my car in the parking lot because my toddler was sleeping in the car. Can’t praise this business enough! Thank you so much ! Best sticker selection around, perfect for someone needing a little something without much money to drop. You'll find toys for all ages, from babies to teenagers & maybe beyond. I didn't look extensively at the pricing of other items, but I'm certain you could find something within your budget, including games, puzzles, toys for imagary play, stuffed animals, lego, science kits. They also have a DIY wrapping section. Nothing beats a good old fashioned toy & hobby shop. This location is also much nicer than their previous location in the Essex Outlets. They're currently located right next to what I hear is a great pizza place, Folino's, in case you're feeling a bit peckish or want an easy solution for dinner.
