UPDATE: New owners took over since my last post. And to this day, we still go to Don Pedro's as our favorite restaurant and best Mexican food in Williston. And did they ever make their menu even better then I thought.
Beans dip was the best ever! Not runny. Great salsa and chips!
Excellent service as ALWAYS!
I love all the new items added to the menu and even breakfast! We don't live in Williston or we would be broke, lol! Mexican food is my favorite food and this place is my favorite in ND.
Very clean, great staff, great owners willing to listen, atmosphere is clean and pleasant, eating in or even out. You even get chips and salsa for your take meals like you should! We seen some places you don't and we just don't bother to order out with them anymore. Great portions, and better than I can say for some other places outside of Williston who have said to me they are competitive with them! Overall, excellent food, quality, and service!
Don Pedro's...One meal, I would love to suggest. Cameron's Al Mojo De Ajo. In Southern California, they butterfly the shrimp, sautéed in garlic butter and serve it with Mexican rice and beans. Popular restaurant called Casa Gamino in Paramount, CA. Please google them and check out their fantastic menu!
Keep up the great work. Never ever had a bad issue with anything. We are dedicated customers. And will always be back! Thank you for great food and thank you for willing to listen to us customers. I really miss So California Mexican food and what my family makes, so I hope my suggestion is ok and the restaurant to you to see their other menu items and prices. We love what you do!!!
Muchas Gracias ❤️
6 years ago... Best authentic Mexican food since I lived in So. Cali! Never a bad plate or drink! Salsa is amazing! And you get your money's worth with their servings! Great staff and always a clean atmosphere! Took our family there a week ago that was visiting us and they too loved it...said best they have had in years since living back in Southern...
Read moreI would honestly give 0 stars if I could. I still tipped 20% because I can’t imagine it was the waitresses fault. First… I had ice tea, sounds simple. I was parched and drank almost 1/3 of the glass before realizing the taste was off. It was rotten… somehow. It had an acrid taste and smell. Somewhere between how a drain smells, and old sigh water. Not a huge deal by itself, just a bad day right… I can let it go and have a sprite. Then my associate and I ordered the same thing. Carne asada y mas, it’s a standard for me, it’s pretty much the same in all Mexican restaurants like this. Yes it is just the same menu, as the rest of the cookie cutter Mexican restaurants. I got a half dollar size chunk of meat while my associate received a normal portion, more than three times the size of my portion. Ok, meat portions vary a bit, maybe I have bad luck. Then my order didn’t come out with the roasted jalapeño and onion that are depicted on the menu. I asked the server about the jalapeño, she happily grabbed them for us. For some reason I can’t quite wrap my head around, the jalapeños were soaked in soy sauce. I’m not sure how that makes sense… it was just one too many things. Would not recommend. Would honestly recommend eating just about...
Read moreMy husband and I love Mexican resturants. We have visited our fair share. When we visited Don Pedro's Family Restaurant in Williston, ND we left unsatisfied.
First the waitress took our drink order, put didn't bring my five year old son his beverage. Like most Mexican restaurants we were given chips and salsa, and there was a bean dip. The chips were burnt, the salsa was bland, and the beam dip tasted like they were cooked in lard (yes I know what lard tastes like). We both for fajitas, our go to at any Mexican restaurant, our son got mac&cheese and fries. Mind you, it was one in the afternoon, we had been at the park all morning, and we hadn't eaten all day. I make my fajita and my husband says "when you bite into that you are not going to be happy." Boy was he right. No seasoning, the flavor... I really thought I was going to be sick! Needless to say we paid for the meal and left it sitting on the table. We left more hunger than we arrived.
I honestly don't understand how people can eat that food. I'm not being overly dramatic. If you enjoy the food at Don Pedro's 👏, but it's obviously the only Mexican restaurant you've ever eaten at or you like bland food.
Worst experience ever!!...
