Oriental Taste 好又多 — Restaurant in Willowbrook

I don't know what the great reviews are about. This is THE WORST Chinese food ever! I have eaten Chinese food all across this Country and this truly is HORRIBLE! I've never seen anything quite like it. Ordered the House Special Fried Rice and it tastes burnt the rice is dark as if cooked in soy sauce and the pieces of beef & chicken are no bigger than 1/2 inch and it's salad shrimp. On top of that it's greasy! Would never recommend eating here. I opened the package and my dog sniffed the air and turned away.

Okay I called and nicely complained. The woman who took my order and payment when I showed up answered. I told her of the horrible burnt taste. She apologized and asked if I wanted them to remake my food. I politely declined and told her I would bring back the food and wanted a refund. She obliged. When arriving she again apologized. I am glad she was kind and understanding, however I still wouldn't recommend this place. I ate only a mouthful but my stomach is already feeling...

Went for lunch with my adult son. His veggie lomein had no flavor. The noodles tasted like spaghetti that was tossed in watered down soy sauce. Yuk! Since that took up 3/4 of the dish, he sent it back and refused to eat there. My shrimp chowmein Cantonese style: the shrimp was perfect, however, 3/4 of the dish was noodles, totally burnt on the bottom, with all the grease left on the plate; as for the onions (french), the cook decided to put the ends, that had many black, rotten marks in the food, mostly trying to hide them beneath, so as not to be found!?! The veggies in my dish included some julienne carrots and tons of bean sprouts. I like bean sprouts, but not as a main feature of my dish! Although my son liked their egg rolls, I tasted the veggie and the regular, and the skin was so thick, it deterred from the potential good flavor. Maybe their other dishes are good, but when a cook hides burnt noodles and rotten onions, I say 2...

Although, the restaurant has only around 10 tables, their dishes were well prepared with fresh ingredients and great tastes. What really impressed me was on the day that we (6) visited (Sat around 5:45pm) , almost all tables were filled with customers plus the none-stop phone rings with people calling to order take-outs, the single lady managed to take care all of us plus other dine-in customers and the take-out orders with friendly smiles and Never gave us the impressed that she was in a rush or under pressure by explained all of customer's questions, took orders, served each table, packed leftovers for dine-in customers and cleaned all the tables... all that were going on while the person(s) in the kitchen continued to crank out well cooked dishes including crunchy chicken dishes and many more.
