The plus points—the place had a nice vibe, good seating and a great menu. The girls seemed like they were nice and they served the drinks fast to everyone inside, but they weren’t actively asking if people needed help or waiting on people unless they were spoken to directly. They were not actively engaging with people coming in or standing at the counter. I stood looking at the menu in front of the register and was never asked what I wanted or if I needed help. I ordered two different teas, both of which were bad. The Lavender Matcha was a good ratio of matcha and milk, but way too much lavender and had clumps of matcha in it. When lavender lovers think it tastes like soap, you didn’t make it correctly. But the worst was the Pineapple Coconut black iced tea. I’m not even sure what they did to it, but it was undrinkable. I even tried to add additional sugar in it but it wasn’t even fixable. It was bitter and acidic and had a weird aftertaste. I was beyond disappointed. I was considering asking them to remake them but their complete lack of interest in making sure the customers had good service- I observed several others who were given the most basic service, and the fact that I didn’t have time to wait were the reasons I didn’t linger to try and get them remade or get a refund. I didn’t think they were rude, but they were definitely doing the barest minimum, and in a local coffee house, I would expect one of your strengths to be excellent and proactive customer service and making sure your customers who aren’t regulars have assistance with the menu. And please- don’t offer teas in your coffee house if you don’t make them correctly. When I see a tea menu I expect the same quality and care as your coffee beverages.

No longer dog friendly. Sadly, dogs are no longer allowed at our all-time favorite Wilmington coffee shop. Our 10 pound 15-year-old schnauzer mix, Schultz, has been a fixture at 24 South for most mornings of the past 8 years. As of last week, the city informed the shop that pet dogs are no longer allowed in the shop. I'll definitely miss the employees, patrons, and Schultz's pup pals of 24 S. Hopefully the shop's owners will get this strange ruling straightened out with the city. In the meantime, Schultz and I will try to make do at one of the other remaining dog-friendly spots downtown.

Fun coffee shop in heart of Wilmington. Great spot to relax and settle in for a while. They offer great selections from quality local sources like Spoonfed and Beach Bagels. A great alternative to Starbucks or Port City Java. The staff is young and friendly. Today I noticed the owner chatting pleasantly with every customer who came in. A very comfortable and pleasant coffee shop with lots of fresh delicious selections. Don’t miss it! Very popular with the locals.

Very rude girls working, one girls in particular unfortunately I didn't catch her name. I'm from out of town but visit about twice a year and always have this experience here, this time one of the girls was so rude I decided to write a review. She seemed offended that I was even ordering something. I've looked at other reviews and this seems to be an on going issue, what I did notice was every time a local came in they were completely charming and polite, then absolutely rude to those they seemed not to know. She walked away several times in the middle of me ordering, didn't look at me, I didn't even know if she was hearing me, she rang me up, without communicating a single word, so I popped my card in, she then walked off and just left me wondering what was going on. Never acknowledged me during the whole order. I'm writing as I sit here, a local came in, they are laughing and chatting with the customer like completely different people. You need to sort this out. The staff treat out of towners like a nuisances. Would defo recommend Bespoke over here until they sort out the...

Place wasn’t bad, ordered Italian cream soda just got regular Italian soda, could have used more flavoring if anything. Not many places make Italian sodas so it was exciting to find somewhere who finally makes them or knows what they are but all ya gotta do for an Italian cream is add a little half and half, and maybe a little more flavoring in the future. I would’ve asked for half and half to fix it myself but they started getting a little busy considering there were only 2 so it wasn’t worth it since the drink was alright. My husband ordered a Mango Tango and I didn’t personally try it but he took a few sips before throwing it out but to be fair he didn’t know what it was really supposed to taste like, it just wasn’t very sweet. We didn’t try their coffee but if we did, we probably would’ve been happier with that. Workers were...
