If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to be trapped in a nightmare carnival run by killer clowns, this escape room is IT—and by “IT,” I mean both an absolute scream and a pants-wetting experience of pure adrenaline. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with eerie carnival music, flickering lights, and the unsettling feeling that something (or someone) is watching you. Spoiler: THEY ARE.

The puzzles? Wickedly clever. Just when we thought we were on the right track, the game twisted like a balloon animal into something even more sinister. The jump scares? Let’s just say I discovered I can shriek in octaves I didn’t know existed. The atmosphere? So immersive that I half expected Pennywise himself to pop out and ask if we’d like a balloon (I’d say no, just to be safe).

The clowns weren’t just creepy—they were terrifyingly chaotic in the best way possible. Their twisted sense of humor kept us all laughing and screaming, proving that terror and fun can go hand in oversized hand.

In the end, we barely escaped with our dignity intact (and maybe a few emotional scars), but we loved every second of it. If you’re looking for an escape room that’s equal parts brain-teasing and nightmare-inducing, this one is a three-ring circus of thrills. Just remember: in this game, the joke’s always on you.

This escape room experience set the bar incredibly high for any to follow. Being a relatively newer participant in escape rooms, but being with someone who's completed, appreciates, and excels in them, we chose the more difficult offered to take on and both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It wasn’t just about solving puzzles; it was about being fully engaged in an intricate, collaborative adventure. The seamless integration of detailed storyline, top notch environment/features, and gameplay challenges made it the best escape rooms I’ve ever experienced. Yes, "rooms"–plural; as we felt we’d truly be missing out not doing a second one after how impressive and enjoyable the first one was. In fact, if we had the time left in our trip, we would've likely done all 4 rooms. Both the owner of the company, who welcomed us and got us right in (without a reservation), as well as the game master, Tristan were great! Impromptu girls night with dinner and escape rooms! Having done most of the escape rooms in a 100 mile radius has us always searching for the next great adventure. Admittedly, saw an ad on Facebook for Game Over Escape Rooms and at first thought it was a Facebook scam, because HOW COULD THERE BE ANOTHER ESCAPE ROOM IN TOWN WE'VE NEVER HEARD OF?! Alas, here they are, ready to provide everything we constantly search for. We decided to try the Horror Circus, very fitting for us who love horror and a good carnival game.
