The Inn at City Club — Hotel in Wilmington

As a local of Wilmington, I've always wanted to stay here, and I AM SO GLAD I FINALLY DID! A good friend and I had a bunch of different events happening in downtown Wilmington over the weekend (10/17/25-10/19/25), so we decided to make our lives a whole lot easier and book a stay here — a place that was close to everywhere we needed to be.

Not only was the space GORGEOUS — it literally felt like I was in a movie — but there were so many amenities as well. We spent our weekend utilizing the user-friendly kitchenette, the many mirrors/sinks/beautiful shower to get ready for a wedding we were attending, and the INCREDIBLE jacuzzi tub to unwind after a long night of dancing and making memories. Our check-in and check-out process was seamless as well! We also felt like we were in our own little world, which was very magical.

We stayed in Suite #56, where there was a beautiful living room area, and we spent many hours talking and making new memories over the weekend. I booked a "staycation" with a girlfriend of mine and it felt like we were in a movie! The suite was stunning, and I could appreciate the gorgeous historical architecture with modern amenities like a stocked coffee bar, kitchenette with dishes, waters, sodas, etc.

The suite was spotless, the bed was comfy with clean linens, and the jacuzzi tub (we stayed in suite #56) made a simple weekend into a luxurious experience. Local entertainment, food, and nightlife were steps away, but our suite still felt private and relaxing after a night out.

Check-In/Out was simple and door codes were easy to understand as well.

Disappointed and disrespectful! We were so excited to stay and even tried to confirm our stay on Wednesday before our Friday and Saturday reservation (5/6-5/8/22) which was placed months before. We get there to check in and Tom advised that HE double booked the HENRY MILLER SUITE. It was 2:30 on Friday May 6th 2022. He confirmed that is was his FAULT. Offered us a 5 bedroom house 15 minutes outside of Wilmington! What !!!!! We were there to see music in WILMINGTON!!!We had to book elsewhere at double the fees! Offered no compensation or even accommodations for the future OR access to the “famous” restaurant! Do not count you reservation as secure!!!!! Sad to be my first review ever!
