Basil Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Wilmington

I was a hotel guest. I went to eat at Basil this Friday and I was with my 6 year old, a 76 year old grandma and a puppy. The waitress asked us to leave as dogs are not allowed. On Saturday there was a couple there with a massive dog and the same waitress(blonde woman) was smiling with them! I asked her I thought you said you don’t allow dogs and she said well he is a service dog! I asked the owner and he said that was not a service dog! State of Delaware forbids you to ask for proof! Imagine throwing out someone struggling with a kid, a dog and an old person! The dog is a beagle! Friendly & so easy going! Also consider adding pizza to your menu! Hotel full of kids! Terrible food and service! The pink haired woman at Starbucks in your lobby hates her job and it’s obvious in her service. Overall a place to sleep...
