At the 520 college road location in Wilmington nc today around noon the young man talking through the mic on the drive through was very rude to me. I asked for a number 13 which says it includes two thighs and one drum stick and also include two sides..when he asked me if I wanted two thighs I got confused because it said it included it so I questioned about that he seemed to be frustrated in his voice then he asked me if I wanted one or two sides and again I was confused because the sign said it included two sides..I wasn't being rude I just was making sure I read it right because the sign said two sides. He began to get increasingly annoyed by my curiosity and said at this point you can go somewhere else and I said well at this point your being rude to a customer and I asked to speak to someone else because he was rude to me...I hope he didn't do anything to my food...I always have to be careful at this location because often times I'll get back to work to find what I ordered wasn't what they gave me. The girl at the window was polite but I didn't appreciated being treated that was as a customer...next time I'll go to cook out even though I really wanted Bojangles...also normally they give u two biscuits and I think he gave me a broken one on purpose and only gave me one that I am Not eating because I'm afraid he did something to it. I'm sure he will defend himself and say he wasn't rude but if u have a recording u should...
Read moreI arrived at this Bojangles location bright and early at 7:00 AM on a Saturday, only to be greeted by locked doors. The posted hours on the door clearly state the dining room opens at 5:00 AM, so either clocks don’t work at Bojangles or the employees just make their own rules. I peeked through the window, only to be met with two employees glaring at me like I was the problem. Needless to say, I promptly turned around and went to McDonald's—where at least they know how to unlock a door and welcome customers.
Now let me be clear—my expectations are already low for fast food, but Bojangles continues to redefine what disappointment looks like. Rude staff, slow service, and a general sense that customers are an inconvenience rather than the reason the place exists. This isn’t a one-time issue either. It’s a chronic Bojangles problem across multiple locations. And for me? This was the final straw.
Oh—and let’s not forget the last time I did manage to get inside this particular Bojangles, one of the employees was smoking a cigarette in the dining room. Yes, in 2025. Yes, in North Carolina. (Pretty sure that’s illegal, by the way.)
Memo to Bojangles corporate: Take a field trip to Chick-fil-A sometime. See how an actual fast food restaurant operates—where customers are greeted with smiles, not side-eyes, and dining rooms open when they say they will. I’m...
Read moreAll the young boys working on 2nd shift ARE DISRESPECTFUL AND RUDE I couldn’t believe i was standing in Bojangles. Actually before i went inside how they talk on the headset is soooo rude and dry as if they don’t want to talk but they have to. Please send some audits to observe what im talking about because that experience was ridiculous & HORRIBLE. One was cussing loud . They were playing loud music , they had customers waiting entirely to long to the point i had to get out and go inside. When i went in one proceeded to get smart and rude when i asked him about the 1 thing i purchased that was taking so long longer then usual…. He said “has it been 10 mins , i said seem like it then he proceeded to talk junk to his co-workers loud enough to where i could hear him. One kept laughing at everything the other one was doing and sayin just making customers feel uncomfortable it was a horrible experience i promise you i will drive so far away to another Bojangles before i ever go to that one again. The whole entire 2nd shift needs to be FIRED or split up. They were literally cussing so loud im still shocked. Run the cameras back from 11/19...
