Carmen's Kitchen — Restaurant in Wilmington

The only reason I’m writing another review is because my other review was deleted. I am a door dasher and I have been doing this for years .Im a 4.9 rated dasher with a 98-99% completion rate . I am a college student(of 2 degrees),a mother and wife . In other words I have a life.I am very fortunate to live a comfortable life daily .I thank Allah every day for this. I don’t respect when business owners don’t operate appropriately and get mad at the customer for expressing the first amendment .I walked in Carmen kitchen bc I was given a 20 dollar order for 2 places . Which any dasher knows is good money . When going inside I immediately noticed it was no AC or fans operating . I’m happily pregnant which may not be the store issue but the heat is harsh and unsuitable conditions for customers and honestly even yourself and staff to work in .I’m an advocate so with that being said if I notice something that is not right I will speak on it not just for my self but for everyone .When I was at Cameron kitchen I was very unhappy and concerned because of the extreme heat and long waits for food .The owner called me miserable but it was the unwelcoming heat that made my experience terrible . The only reason the lady has something rude to say to me is because I wrote a negative review . If you look up other reviews anyone that has given her a lower review she gets smart with them and belittles them .She told me I don’t have no life because I made 2 reviews but I just really believe that she doesn’t make enough money and her company is struggling because it seem the only one who doesn't have a life is the women who can’t afford to have a running AC or Fan in her place of business.Serving her customers with her door open giving flies and other flying insects the opportunity to invade the business.Also having her customers that she so call enjoy being hot and gasping for cooling air .I seen flies coming in and out the building .But since I have no life according to you I will be making a report to OSHA and report the hazardous conditions you are placing your customers and fellow workers in .I will also inform them on everything including the flies from what I noticed . I will even call the Better Business Bureau and write a letter to the attorney general in Delaware detailing what is going on . I already know when you see my review you are going to say the upmost rudest things in the book to me but just remember this all started because I respectfully stated an opinion and you are upset you don’t like it .You will no longer be disrespecting me or other people for not giving your restaurant the review you want it all ends Tuesday when I make the report . Now have a great day baby you will no longer be disrespecting me .If you remove this review I promise you I will take screenshots to show how much you want to hide from your customers and continue to make sure I post reviews . Closed. Location on Google has hours and said opened, traveled to the place and no lights no sign of life and no sign saying closed due to illness or anything. Irresponsible if the owner to not put up a sign informing customers of reason closed. People don't have time to travel places to find out they closed for whatever reason without at least a clearly visible note displayed in the door with an apology for the inconvenience. Running a business and expecting new and returning customers should start with respect forthe customer. Owner expecting a customer know something else is an issue is not acceptable and typical of some business owners that do not care about it's customers. Get your act together or get out of the business if dealing with customers period. Zero star fir poor...

Highly recommend going here if you like Spanish Food. Because you will leave loving it and wanting more. We can’t wait to go back and bring my parents. The food was delicious and served nice and hot. The yellow rice and rice and beans taste just like my Abuela use to make. Everything was so fresh. The food tastes AMAZING !!! If I could give it 10 stars I would. You will not be disappointed with anything you order here.

The people who work here are very friendly and nice. They have street parking or you can parking in the laundromat across the street from the restaurant.
