City Pizza & Sub Co. — Restaurant in Wilmington

We have ordered from here a lot. We moved about 15 min away from here 5 years ago but it wasn’t til maybe within the last year we tried this place. People my husband know from Seneca were raving about the food so we figured we try it. Obsessed! Best subs we’ve ever had. We ALWAYS get the #25 club supreme Italiano with extra turkey no roast beef and an antipasto salad. I never thought of fresh mozzarella on a sub before I ordered from here. THE BEST! Worth every single penny. Everytime we say we’re going to try something else but we love that sandwhich so much we can’t part from it. Well tonight, we ordered picked it up, came home after our 30 min drive and our sandwhich had roast beef on it and no bacon. The bacon is the best part. They have ALWAYS been 100% accurate so I was surprised. So I called to let them know, they offered me a credit because my husband was leaving for work so we couldn’t bring it back. Not that we care because I work in the restaurant business and we know things happen so we will definitely be back for our favorite sub here soon I’m sure. We just picked off the roast beef cause we were starving but it wasn’t the same without the bacon. Still good but...

This place is amazing. I'm from Boston, lived in Chicago for 7 years and have eaten pizza & subs all over the country. This place is QUALITY. City Subs bakes their own bread every morning, makes their own sauces, pizza dough, soups, chili, etc from scratch.

The portions are large, they offer great coupons, and most importantly, the SERVICE IS EXCELLENT. These are good, friendly people that take pride in their food and their customer service.

Some standout menu items: meatball sub hand-tossed pizza stuffed pizza cream of broccoli in a bread bowl any salad any sub with the homemade vinaigrette the baked puffs

Stopped by and picked up a couple sub sandwiches. The prices are super affordable and the sandwiches are very good. The bread was fresh and probably the best sub sandwich bread I've had. The city Stix are also very very good. Nobody had any complaints, in fact my entire family agreed these sandwiches were some of the best they've ever had. If you haven't tried City Pizza & Sub Co.
