Country Chef in Wilmington is a solid go-to for a hearty breakfast or lunch. The atmosphere is classic diner-style—nothing fancy, but it’s clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The staff is friendly and attentive, and service is usually quick, even during busy times.
The menu has a great selection of breakfast staples and diner favorites. I had the corned beef hash with eggs and home fries—everything was cooked just right and came out hot. Portions are generous, so you definitely won’t leave hungry. Coffee is solid and always kept full.
