I was always happy with this CVS for years, but now am switching to a closer Tewksbury location. Just in the past 4 days they have made two mistakes with my prescription copay. One text copay was sent to me at $399.00 and I knew that was incorrect. It was then brought down to $0. Another one today was sent in a text that the copay would be $34.52. I knew that was incorrect and checked with my insurance company and that was also brought down to $0! I was told by someone the other day at the pharmacy that whoever did the pricing only put the price cost and never checked my insurance obviously. I would have been overcharged $434.52 for copays JUST THIS WEEK!!! I have also in the past been given the wrong amount of pills and I do not like when they mix pills from different companies in the same bottle, but don't mark it on the bottle. It would be nice if they told you it is the same pill just looks different because it comes from a different manufacturer. They used to do that. They also do not advice you on the bottle about restrictions about what not to eat when taking that medication such as grapefruit. They used to do that too and no longer do it.When my insurance company called this CVS today the insurance agent came back to me on the phone to tell me the person she spoke to was very snippy and rude!! I told our insurance agent we have had it with the Wilmington CVS and will be switching to a closer CVS in Tewksbury. Wilmington CVS makes too many mistakes. I would be worried they are going to mess up pills now too. Too many mistakes!!! Make sure you are paying the correct amounts for copay because someone there is NOT doing their job!!! There are some wonderful people we used to see at the drivethru that knew us, but I don't think they are there anymore. There is too quick a turnover there now at the drivethru. Everytime we would go it was someone new and never seemed to see them again. Enough! We are done with...
Read moreDon’t order cards / photos from this location. I ordered a set of 40 simple, standard 5x7 holiday cards from the CVS website, to be picked up at this location. I did not change the standard design on the company’s website at all beyond uploading my family photo as intended in the design. I never received an email that my cards were ready; I had to call the store. This in and of itself wasn’t a big deal; the folks at the store checked for the cards and let me know that they were ready. However, I showed up to pick up the cards and was informed by the store associate that they couldn’t give me envelopes to go with the cards; that they had printed the cards incorrectly. The 5x7 cards were printed on 6x8 paper (yes, I measured to confirm that I wasn’t losing my mind). Since the store printed the cards on the incorrect paper, this created a random blank border around the card design that I didn’t want or ask for. I was charged the full amount for the cards, and was then subsequently informed that I’d need to find other envelopes myself. The envelopes had been included in the price I paid. Why would I want to have to go to yet another store to find envelopes in a random, non standard size that I didn’t even order? And why would I want to sit at my table and cut off all the extra borders off of these cards? If I knew this would happen, I would have ordered cards and envelopes elsewhere. Obviously, I had to return these cards and order new ones from another store that wouldn’t mess up a simple order and try to print them on larger, incorrectly sized paper. The kicker was that the folks at this store acted as if I was simply returning the cards because I had changed my mind, not because the store had done something wrong. Save yourself the trouble and extra work and order your cards and...
Read moreOur experience could not have been any worse! We booked appointments online for Covid-19 rapid tests that morning. Drove there to the drive through which is where we had tested at other CVS's in the past. After 5 minutes and being the only vehicle there, we were told he would be right with us. After waiting another 5 minutes, he told us to drive around to the parking lot and text the number posted so we did. After waiting 10 minutes and not seeing anyone or getting a text back, I tried calling the store but I was routed to a central location where the person who answered told me to go in the store. So I did and waited 5 minutes at the pharmacy to be told by the pharmacist that he had nothing to with the tests. I pressed for some assistance and he told me to walk to a different part of the store and check which I did but no one was there so I went back to the pharmacist who told me tough luck for getting my sick daughter tested for Covid that the testing must be closed I showed him my appointment confirmations to which he told me that was the MinuteClinic. This man was the pharmacist and clearly should not be in that job with zero compassion or caring for someone's well being, especially a sick child. Imagine just turning us away with no options for getting my daughter tested and actually being annoyed that I would ask. He didn't check another location, offer an at home self-test, or even provide me with a number to call for assistance. I was treated much better at the donut shop up the street. I understand that there are staffing issues and Covid has taken a toll on the healthcare profession, but nothing excuses treating someone like this. Please be warned to avoid this CVS location for testing or anything that involves...
