We happened to just see the store from the street as we were driving from Wilmington to Fort Fisher. We decided to look it up on google and determined we had to stop back on the way back for dinner dessert. We are so glad we did. This was our first time to Crumbl Cookies. The staff was super friendly and nice and there was contactless ordering and payment options. Everyone had masks on and social distancing signs on the door and floor. It was great experience all together.
We ordered: Carrot Cake Cookie - This was the favorite from all 3 kids and my wife. I thought it was good but I liked some of the other ones better. The cookie was so soft it tasted more like a dense cake than a cookie. I also love carrot cake so it was weird eating it in this form but a great experience.
Cookies and Cream Cookie - This was super sweet in my opinion. I had like one bite of it and I was good. The kids obviously really liked it but I don't know if I would personally pick this one to eat on my own.
Sea Salt Toffee - This was my first choice when I saw the cookie options. I love toffee in general and when you add salt to anything sweet it just heightens the flavor so much. This was my favorite from the cookies we ordered. The toffee was so soft and gooey. It was just perfect.
Iced Oatmeal - This was my wife's first choice. She loves oatmeal cookies in general. This was just a really good tasting oatmeal cookie. Not sure if the icing was necessary but it tasted great and everyone loved it as well.
Lemon Poppy Seed Ice Cream - OMG, I had no idea they could convert this to an ice cream but with my first bite I knew they had done it. It tasted like a ice cold creamy lemon poppy seed muffin. Don't know how they did it but it was great and I would order this one again. If you like lemon poppy seed muffins this is a must try.
Biscoff Ice Cream- We were torn between Biscoff or buckeye brownie and asked a couple of the staff behind the counter. They both said Biscoff and they were right. It tasted amazing and the kids loved it. I think someone said it tasted like animal crackers dipped in vanilla ice cream. It was just perfect. Glad we listened to the staff.
Churro Ice Cream - I only got one bite of this as my oldest son ate the majority of it. The great sugar cinnamon combination was perfect with little bits of the churro as well. I said it tasted like a good cinnamon sugar donut topped with vanilla ice cream. How can anyone not like that?
Raspberry Cheesecake Ice Cream - this was a pick from the wife. it was also very good and my youngest son liked this one alot as well. It was good and tasted like what it was called. I'm not sure how they were able to replicate the raspberry cheesecake into ice cream form but they did. My wife said she wold order this again.
Overall while they are called Crumbl Cookies, I think the ice creams were far superior to their cookies but that may be because i'm a ice cream person. My wife on the other hand is a cookie person and said that the cookies are very very good and huge. I personally could not pick a favorite between all 4 ice creams we ordered. I could see myself going out of my way to get more of this ice cream but there is something for all of us. I would suggest anyone who was thinking about it, just try it and don't forget...
Read moreFirst time trying this place out. Inside was bright and clean. It's like a cookie science laboratory. The girls working were friendly. I bought a box of 4 cookies. I picked cookies and cream, iced oatmeal, carrot cake and a toffee sea salt one. I thought the toffee one would be my favorite, but it wasn't. It was good but just not the best of the 4. The best were the cookies and cream and the carrot cake. The icing on the carrot cake cookie was delicious. The oatmeal one was great too but how could it compete with those other flavors? All in all this place was pretty wonderful and I'm sure I'll be back to try their other flavors.
Updates. I've tried more cookies...how could I not with new flavors every week?!? Kentucky butter cake. Gross and boring. Like a chocolate chip cookie without the chocolate chips. It needed something. Pecans many. I'dk it was the most boring cookie I've ever had Banana cream pie. Lovely! Cornbread cookie. I was looking forward to this one because I keep seeing how obsessed everyone is with it. As a cornbread lover I thought I'd love it. I did not. I didn't even like it. They did a mallow sandwich with oreos. It was amazing Banana cream pie. Ok. The cookie portion has an odd texture to me. But the filling was good Pecan pie. Like a perfect little pecan pie. The only pie cookie I have liked from here Chocolate potato chip. Not enough chips to be able to tell it from a chocolate chip cookie. Blueberry cheesecake. Don't even remember eating it so idk. Must not have been great. Salted caramel cheesecake. Gross Pina colada. Not good. Most recelty a peach and cream one. Not great. I was super excited about it because I love peach. I bought 2 and regret it. The cookie part is very dense and chewy. I was expecting more of a crunch. The peach filling/topping is a nice light texture but really lacking in flavor. It was a big disappointment. My second cookie is just sitting in the fridge and I don't really want to eat it. It was that bad. I'm learning now the cookies are hit or miss. My first experience was the best. I'll keep trying them tho because they do have a lot of different flavors and some have been really great
The more cookies I eat from here the less I like it. At this point I think I've not liked more cookies than I've liked and I feel like they all kind of taste the same. I haven't been here in a while. I will go back for a pecan pie cookie but that's ok. Not worth the price...

Got the banana pudding and it was literally super runny like milk. Was giving a fork and it was so runny couldn’t even eat it with a fork and tasted like spoiled milk. When asked the worker about it she claimed that’s how it was supposed to be and didn’t offer any solution on trying to fix the problem when it was clearly not satisfied with how it was served. You can clearly tell that it was made incorrect and it was not in a pudding form. If I turned the cup upside down it would have ran out like a liquid. One of the worst experiences I’ve had and I drove from Jacksonville so definitely wouldn’t make that trip again. & these pics was mins after purchase I didn’t leave the parking lot and went back inside literally mins and was offered...
