Four of us dined here last night (25 January 2025). I ate here once before for lunch, but never wrote a review. I don't even remember what I had. The place was full, but we had reservations. The interior had a nice Asian vibe. There's a separate room with low tables. Jalyn was our waitress. She was very nice and quite professional at her job. The menu has a good variety of dishes to choose from. Jalyn brought us each a small plate of edamame and picked carrots/cucumbers. That was a nice start to our meal. My husband and I ordered the shrimp with Chinese chives pot stickers (quantity of six), which came with a dipping sauce (probably soy sauce rice vinegar, sesame oil, etc) and a hot chili sauce. They were excellent!! My friends ordered the spring rolls, which they really enjoyed. For my entrée, I had the firecracker chicken along with brown rice. This came with celery, carrots, baby corn, straw mushroom and water chestnuts in a Sichuan red chili pepper sauce. The chicken pieces were breaded and stir-fried. My husband had the Sichuan eggplant dish, (with brown rice) which included onions and scallions. He added pork, but felt there was very little of it in the dish. He also stated it was not spicy at all. Our friends had the General Tso's chicken and one of the pork dishes. The entrée portions for all four dishes were huge! We had leftovers. Overall a very good place for Chinese food. We'll be back. I want to try some of the dim sum and other items on the menu.

Happy Chinese new year. This place is where to go! Every new years, around the beginning of February a celebration at this flavorful Chinese cuisine restaurant. There is a special menue. A 3-course lunch or dinner items to help bring luck into your life. This year, my first course, i chose one of 4 items. The spicey sweet sauced wings was a good start to a meal. From the entree list i got the DOUBLE COCONUT;which was chicken and jumbo shrimp in a sweet cream coconut sauce, and a friend got a ginger scullion WHOLE RED SNAPPER. And finally i had the tradtional red bean paste Sesame Balls. Not all items on the New Years menu is available on everyday menu. The was q longer than normal wait even for lunch 12:30ish the busiest time, get your orders in earlier or after 1:30 lunch closes at 3pm and opens up for dinner at 5 pm. One best Chinese cuisine in town! Take out is not always available

My parents took me here, and I really enjoyed our time. We basically came in as soon as they opened for dinner, so we were seated right away. I got a wonton soup, and my family got steamed pork dumplings to share. The wonton soup had good flavor, but there was not a lot of meat in the wontons. The fried noodles that the soup came with were crispy and wide, and they were delicious. The dumplings were also good, but I felt that they were maybe mass-produced because they lacked flavor and individuality. I ordered chicken with broccoli for my meal, which came with white rice. The meal was very tasty, and the portions were generous. I enjoyed my leftovers. The service was good, as well. We got a good amount of food, but there were a couple of people clearing our dishes as we finished them. I would like to come back and try more of their menu.

I grew up in NY eating some amazing Chinese food. I'm living in the south now and having traveled all over the east coast i've tried a lot of Chinese and it's very difficult in the south to find anything that compares. This place is the real deal, absolutely incredible food that would rival even the best spots in NY. It's definitely a bit more upscale and a little more expensive than a typical take out spot but still has all your Chinese take out favorites on the menu. The meals only come with regular white or brown rice so if you want fried rice I would recommend ordering a dinner serving and splitting it with your party (its huge). We tried the General Tso's, pork fried rice, beef with broccoli, wonton soup, spicy wontons and the pork dumplings. All of these were top tier, highly recommend the pan fried dumplings as they were the best i've ever had. The dumplings are more of a Japanese style (gyoza) than what you'd normally find at Chinese takeout, but absolutely incredible and cooked to perfection with a slightly crispy crust and soft flavorful interior. The dumplings come with hot oil and ginger sauce, both of which were delicious, I could literally eat a meal of just some white rice with these sauces poured on it and be perfectly happy (and in fact I did, with my leftovers later that night). The pork fried rice is also closer to a Japanese style fried rice, its not loaded with soy sauce and MSG, its a little bit more laid back and lets the vegetables and pork carry the flavor, it was packed with fresh ingredients with nice big strips of pork and was absolutely delicious. General tso's had perfect texture, and great flavor with just the right mix of heat and sweetness. Wonton soup and spicy wontons were nice and soft with great flavor. The spicy wontons and the hot oil did have quite a bit of heat so beware if you cant tolerate spicy stuff, but if you like spicy you are in for a treat. On top of the food being so good our hostess/server was great, taking the time to really explain the menu and offer recommendations that made the whole experience very enjoyable. All in all, if you are on the fence about this spot, just do it, you...

We went on Thursday for lunch. The bad: My meal and my daughters were the worst Asian food we ever tasted. My daughters catfish was so over cooked she couldn't even chew parts of it- tasteless too. Vegetables were steamed completely plain. I got sweet and sour pork which was neither. The potatoes on top were ice cold, the meat and batter were tasteless and the sauce was horrible. The good: the hot and sour soup was the best I ever had. My son ordered red curry and it was delicious. We ordered some food to go. 2 pork buns, and the mixed appetizers. We spent $90 total. with tip. The bun steamed bread part was good, but the filling was horrible - completely plain, tasteless pork- maybe a hint of salt. The egg rolls were very greasy, plain filling ; overcooked fried tofu. We definitely will not be back. Too hit or miss. All those awards? Must have been for the red curry. The service was okay , but as I walked back to the table I was having a look around at the decor and one of the staff shouts to me loudly across the restaurant- can I help you find something? Was an embarrassing moment for me. Double...
