My wife and I dined here on a Saturday evening in February. We like Indian food and have been going to another popular local place, but this was our first time at Little Asia. I actually didn't realize it was an Indian place because of the name, but the menu is primarily Indian. They have a variety of vegetarian, chicken, seafood, beef, and lamb dishes on there menu.
The restaurant is located in a strip mall, and it is fairly small inside. There are maybe 8-10 tables, and not much space between them. Don't go here expecting a private, romantic dinner! We were able to hear the conversations of all of our neighbors. The decor is vaguely Indian and overall, the restaurant was clean and neat (their sanitation score of 99 was posted by the register). They seem to do a fair amount of takeout business as well as dine-in. The kitchen is visible from the dining area and seems to be very well-run and organized. The dishes and silverware all were very clean. Our server was good -- not overly friendly, but efficient and timely.
We ordered our favorite Indian dishes - veggie samosas, chicken tikka masala, veggie korma, and garlic naan. The samosas were fresh, crispy, and hot, and they came with two very nice sauces. We ordered medium heat for the main dishes, and I would say that's what we got. The tikka masala was quite good, with perfectly-done, flavorful chicken. The veggie korma was not as tasty -- it was OK, but really nothing special. Both main dishes were served with rice. The naan was good, although a little crispier than I am used to.
Overall, it was a positive experience. We will...

We tried almost every item on the menu and all have truly delicious flavors and authentic Indian taste. The Beef Korma and Malali Butter Chicken are incredibly tasty and my personal favorites. The rest excellent also!
The service is always great and the owners are so friendly and welcoming. We truly enjoy their friendship and hospitality! So, if you want to taste the best Indian food in Wilmington, Little Asia Bistro is the place!
Three years ago - This was a wonderful place to enjoy lunch with the family. The service was excellent and Jay-R was such a pleasant and welcoming hostess. She made our experience memorable and we will certainly visit again in the very near future.
The food was very flavorful and delicious. We tried a number of dishes and each one was great. The Kofta on a skewer was especially delicious but we also enjoyed their Chicken Tekka Masala and Chicken Biryani. Everything was simply A+. Now if you like an amazing Lassi, you must try their mango lassi. It’s one of the best I’ve ever had. We ended up having five of them. The kids loved them.
So, if you like Indian food, I would highly recommend Little Asia Bistro. I think you’ll enjoy both the food, the service and the...
Read moreI have no idea how they got to 4.6 on Google. I have been eating Indian food for over 25 years all across the country and I can say this is the worst Indian food I have ever eaten. The service was horrible. We had to ask several times for water and they had brought out our appetizer before we got water. This is the first rule in the hospitality industry... get water on the table before food. Once the food was brought out, no one ever came back to our table. They didn't even bring the check. I had to go the register and ask to pay. Now for the food... what I think they are doing based on taste and texture is boiling a large amount of chicken ahead of time and putting in the fridge. Then when you order, I think they take out a handful of chicken and add bottled sauce, then microwave it. This results in tough, flavorless chicken as it never gets the chance to simmer in the sauce. The samosas tasted frozen, and the naan tasted like frozen pizza dough. We barely ate any of it and just went home and ate. I would highly suggest going elsewhere for authentic, flavorful,...
