Buffalo Wild Wings — Restaurant in Winchester

My visit was on New Year's Eve and we knew it would be busy so our party went in at 7pm so we wouldn't be late to our plans for 930pm. We were seated almost right away as the dining room was no where near full. Now we were told they were a little backed up. Our server was prompt and brought us our drinks and then our orders. That's when everything went down hill. Our server seemed to be avoiding us, I had to wave her over to ask for refills and then she was gone. It was another 15-20 minutes before I waved her over to ask for our refills "again". At this point we had been seated for 45 minutes since we ordered our food and we're wondering how long it was going to be, so I asked the host if he would find our server so we could ask about our food. He said the kitchen is backed up tonight. We waited another 10-15 minutes. I asked host if I could speak to the manager. Someone came to our table maybe with in 5 minutes and told us the same thing ( in this whole 30 minutes we have not seen our server) about the kitchen being backed up. At this point we had been waiting for an hour and twenty minutes. We finally received our order (1hr & 25 minutes) and they had to remake one if my party's meals because it sat too long. Well we ate and the food was good (only wings) they had ran out of fries and didn't tell us until we received our food. Now to make up for our poor service and extremely long wait they took off the price of one dinner from our bill. This is when I was seriously angered. I used a gift card, for which I knew what was on the card. Our server came back and stated that there was nothing left on the card after she ran it and didn't bring my receipt because she said she threw it away. We knew that there was only just under $3 in the card, but to me it was STEALING no matter the situation. My friends and I are certainly not going to return to this...

Went in on a Wednesday evening at around 6:40pm. Group of 4, 2 adults and 2 children. Were seated very quickly and then waited about 10 minutes and I had to request the hostess have a server come on over. I then saw the hostess speak with a Manager...who then discussed with servers who should come and help us. (As a manager, come over and take the drink order, apologize and say the server will be right with you.) A server from another area came and took drink order and we asked if she could take our food order at that time. She did so, and was very friendly. Now seeing as she was not our server but working a different area, we were kinda forgotten, not her fault cuz not her area...again where is the manager, or the server that should handle our table?! Food takes about 20-25 minutes...its almost all cooked in a deep fryer and the restaurant is only at 40-50%...not busy at all.

We pay, and I tip the server 25% or so as she went out of her way to help us even though it was inconvenient for her and ultimately didnt provide us with great service, but she tried her best and we appreciated it very much!

Spoke with manager as I was leaving, he immediately said he was sorry for the inconvenience and he had meant to speak to us, but didnt want to interrupt our meal, which is polite. I assure you, however, there was plenty of time he could have spoken with us that would not have negatively affected our sitting around and waiting time. We have been here before and service was at best mediocre, but that was a very busy night so we took no issue with that. It now seems this is the MO here. Again, great job by the server who stepped up, no idea who our original server should have been as they made no attempt to help us and poor management...may have been an off night, but its enough to convince us to try elsewhere...

Home sweet home! My favorite place to be! Outstanding architecture exterior and interior-inside and out! I'm always impressed with constant re-modelings and new things! Personally, the best Buffalo Wild Wings I've ever been to and I don't know what I'd do if I went away from it. I personally always love seeing that big yellow and black BDUBS exterior and the interior big art wing posters coming in and out. Very decent pricing and well designed menus and constant great deals and special offers! Absolutely an amazing environment to be in even if you're not that big into sports(like me)-Though I love when they're playing motocross/motosports and/or girls basketball! ..Not always a good place to always get quality attention with whoever you're dining out with because of all of the distractions, but always a good vibe! I absolutely love the indoor merchandise such as clothing, cups, and even sauces and spices! And you can even call in an order and pick it up!- Love doing this every now and then for that great BDUB car smell! & Great outdoor eating area with great service as well! Most of the time great selection of music not commonly played in other restaurants- I love when I'm hearing rock, alternative rock, 80's, metal, and when they're not.. still a pretty good wide variety of good music! Sometimes it's packed for sporting events, but if you really love their food like I do you'd probably wait in line a few times or more if it's what you really want, plus there's welcoming free mints and goodbye free mints at the seating entrance :) I LOVE their open hours! One of the very few restaurants around that's actually open later! I absolutely love the food here!
