I booked a room here for May 30th. As a hilton honors member for over 11 yrs now I have enjoyed my option of being able to check in the day before through the app and choose my own room. Never had an issue, until May 29th. I kept getting a error message and I could not check in. So I cleared the history from my phone storage attempted numerous times again and the same thing happened. That morning at approximately 11am I called and got a gentleman on the phone. To my fault I did not get a name. I explained to him what happened and I would like his help to check in for the next day. He said I will have to wait till I get there tomorrow. I explained to him well I never had an issue before so why can't I just check in now. In his condescending voice he asks why is it so important to check in today when you will have to do it tomorrow. I was taken back. I told him because I have done this throughout the years and it is a choice. He said well we can't guarantee that room because possible issues or other occurrences with it. Again in a condescending voice. I am just going to put it out there in a nice as possible customer way...WHY??? Because I am the customer. I am a solo traveler (which i was). I was never even asked if I was handicapped ( I am not). The point is again, I am the customer who has worked with the public for over 20 yrs and that sir is the wrong responses you gave to me on that day.
So I ended up canceling and booking another hilton chain in the area and guess what? I got to check in with no issues!! I reported it and never got any feedback if this individual...
Read moreWhat a very nice hotel with great staff ! I just spent a night here on Thursday 6/12. This hotel almost reminds me of the boutique style in Europe but is a little bigger. Upon check in we were greeted by I believe "Lexi ?" she did have a name plate on but I was tired and didn't have my glasses on. She created us and thanked us for being Hilton Members and gave us a little bag with water and a snack. We went up to our room to find that our door's deadbolt was open to keep the door from closing. All the lights were on and so was the bathroom light and fan making the temp. in theorem about 80 degrees. The room looked clean and made up but we were uncomfortable about staying there plus it was too warm for us. We went back downstairs and told "Lexi" the problemLexi apologized and stated she did not know what happened and immediately assigned us another room. Upon entering this room, It was nice and cool clean, and comfortable. The beds and bedding were nice and clean and bright and pillows were comfortable. There really wasn't too much furnishings but did have a desk and chair. The bathroom was bright and clean and the shower was glass with shampoo and stuff and towels looked new. We had a very comfortable night and slept good. In the morning they serve a continental breakfast with cereals, breads/toast bagels and yogurt. i noticed staff members going about their work and they seemed happy which makes me believe that they are being treated well by the owner and management. If i come back again this way, I will definitely stay...
Read moreWouldn’t recommend for more than a few days because of the setup, but for what we needed it served its purpose. We rented several rooms this weekend and all rooms were clean and nice. This is definitely a budget hotel so don’t expect much. No drawers, no coffee maker in room (but there’s coffee served at all times in the lobby), the blackout curtains aren’t so blackout and the mini fridge had an annoying buzzing sound. Corner rooms have a huge bathroom which was a plus for me and they accommodated my dog who needed to take the trip with us. I must say the staff here is super nice and all are attentive. The service alone would bring me back. Pool was out of service but we knew that when we booked and it really wasn’t that kind of trip anyway. Free breakfast was meh, but there are tons of restaurants in the area. At the hotel the options include apples, Jimmy Deans breakfast sandwiches, vanilla yogurt, plain bagels, cereal, orange juice and oatmeal. Again it is a budget hotel so don’t expect much but it will serve its purpose. The breakfast area is clean and the staff consistently pays attention to clean and stock it. There’s also a few things you can buy on site in terms of snacks and beverages but no bar and no real outside seating besides a bench or one picnic table to the side of the parking. Thankful to how the staff treated my entire family during this stay! Appreciate the flexibility everyone we...
