Hidden gem! Cheap good eats.
Papusas are thick griddle cakes made from corn or rice flour and filled with savory stuff like cheese, pork, chicken, beans, zucchini, and loroco (an edible unopened flower bud), and traditionally served with a sort of cabbage slaw on the side.
This place didn't disappoint. We got their "crazy large papusas" to go. They cost $5 and were the size of pizzas and came with everything, cabbage slaw, salsas, hot sauces and all of the toppings.
And if you think that's a good deal, try going on Wednesday when they have regular sized papusas for 1.25 each. You might need 2 or 3 to fill up, but you can literally eat for $5.
Like all delicious but inexpensive places, they are busy! You might want to get takeout or you might have to wait for a table. It only took us 10 min to get our takeout.

Pupusas are good and freshly made. Flank steak in the Carne asada is a Little tough and chewy so I'll skip that next time. Torta Hula Hula tasted a lot like a Cubano and it's huge.
Service was attentive. We got everything we ordered and didn't have to wait long.
