Good Eats at Rowena’s Diner
Stopped by Rowena’s Diner for dinner and left real satisfied. I kicked things off with the Lumpiang Shanghai—those little fried rolls were hot, crispy, and packed with flavor. What really made ’em shine were the sauces. They came with a sweet and sour dip and a house-made dressing, and let me tell you, neither one came out of a bottle. You could taste the care in both.
For the main course, I went with the Pancit Bihon with chicken. The noodles were cooked just right, not greasy, and full of flavor. The chicken was tender and mixed in real nice—plenty of it, too. It’s the kind of meal that fills you up without weighing you down.
Rowena’s ain’t fancy, but the food’s honest, tasty, and made with heart. If you’re lookin’ for a good meal that hits the spot without breakin’ the bank, this place delivers.
They have traditional American and Filipino dishes. They’ll also have daily specials not limited to the menu (something different).
I noticed a breakfast menu too. Open 8am-8pm....

Rowena herself is the heart of this place. She made our meal from scratch and went above and beyond for us. You don’t often find that kind of passion and generosity anymore! But here, it’s alive and thriving. I left speechless. In awe. In love. And most of all, truly grateful. This isn’t just a diner—it’s a reminder that food made with love nourishes more than just the body.

Read moreA group of 13 women had breakfast this morning at Rowena’s Diner. Rowena was the sole cook working and her spouse was our waiter. The menu has both Philippine and American items. Several of us ordered Philippine breakfast items, which were delicious. Those who selected standard breakfast meals were also very pleased with their choice. In addition to excellent service, the temperature of the presentation and temperature of the food was spot on. Rowena came out of the kitchen after everyone was served to make sure each of us was satisfied. When we had finished eating, Rowena brought each of us a generous slice of Cassava Cake on the house. The cake was delightful with a wonderful flavor and texture. I highly recommend Rowena’s Diner and will be visiting again for lunch with my...
