Placed phone order at 12:46. Told 10-15 min. Arrived at 1 pm. Several people waiting so I stood near the counter. I had a clear view of the kitchen and watched the girls moving things from To-go bags to trays and vice versa - seemed a lil lost A few people sitting had to ask for missing items but the staff seemed to get them once asked.
Our order came out 20 min later. They apologized for the wait. I said no worries. Thanks.
Got on the road and realized the Ruma Super missing roast beef and the other sandwich was wrong. I called to let them know we likely had someone else's order. The girl who answered said sorry we can make you a new one. I said we can't come back but I just wanted to let you know. She said we can refund your order. I said that would be fine but I mainly wanted you to know we probably have someone's order. She said hold on a second. Another person got on the phone and said what's wrong with the order? I restated what I shared with the other girl. She replied she can't offer me a refund because I got my sandwiches. I said I didn't ask for one but was offered one. She said I can only give you a discount when you come back next time because you did get your sandwich.
Again I called to tell you we likely were given a different order and the other worker offered it. I get that you guys are busy and mistakes happen but being rude doesn't help anyone. She said ok.
Might need a little help reworking their process, having their team on the same page and learning that you can stick to a policy while still being kind.

I live 30mins south from here so I called in a Togo order around 710pm gave me 50mins b4 they close, first thing when I called at 710 they put me on hold to ask if they was still taking orders after a couple mins they get on n said they would take my order I place a 45$ order n I said I should be there around 750 to get it, their response was could you get there sooner I said I would try, I got stuck at the train tracks by a train n by the time I got there is was 3mins after they close. I see 3 young teenage boys n a girl in the kitchen with my food. So I rang the bell at the drive thru and they all just stared at me n did nothing so I rang again n nothing so I back up a bit to see what they was doing in the kitchen n they all were dancing pointing to their wrist like your too late as they was eating my food i order. I tried calling, ringing the bell n still they just kept dancing n eating my food n pointing to there wrist. So I left without nothing. So not only did they lose out on 50+ dollars n food plus the tip i was gonna give gor being late. They lose my business for good. Do not eat here if you have any kind of pride in how a restaurant should operate, they are totally rude, disrespectful, and just plan ignorant to the costumer. Read moreWe ordered Ruma's online for pickup. Upon arrival shortly after 12:00, they said the order was not ready yet. No big deal. It's lunchtime, we get it. While waiting, we got to enjoy the very loud music with offensive language coming from the kitchen - the kind of stuff you definitely don't want your kids repeating no matter how good it is. Our food was finally released at 12:29. We live 6 minutes from Ruma's and went directly home. When we opened the bag, none of the sandwiches were labeled (they were all different) so, we had to pull the cheese off of the top to identify each one. I suppose it was fortunate that the sandwiches were lukewarm at best so, it didn't make too much of a mess. As I mentioned, the sandwiches were NOT hot and having to wait that long they should have been piping hot! Additionally, they did not include the side of gravy we paid for, there were only 4 slices of meat on one of the sandwiches and the others also had very little. I am also pretty sure they forgot to put the garlic butter on them because they were SO dry that they were inedible. This was an absolute waste of time and $30+. I tried calling the store multiple times and was greeted with a busy signal. I then called 'Slice" customer service who also could not reach the restaurant and was told that there was nothing they could do until they spoke to someone at the restaurant.
