I really wanted to like this place. I love to support small businesses and local restaurants, especially during COVID where local businesses need the money. But I was thoroughly unimpressed from start to finish. I gave my phone number when i called to order but never got a call for when my pizza was ready, just a 20-45 minute time frame. I ordered 2 different small specialty pizzas. A small was 13$ which I was okay paying - see above about spending money for local businesses. The pizza was remarkably small, hardly bigger than my outstretched hand. The pizza looked unappealing itself, nothing like the flavor text on the menu. It was rather bland overall, and I considered some dipping ranch if it wasn't another 1.75$ for a side of ranch. When I got home, the pizza slid entirely off the crust, it was undercooked on the bottom which made the pizza floppy, it tasted very monotonous and didn't have a variety of seasonings or spices. I bit up to the crust in one bite and the crust was huge and puffy and dominated the pizza slice, but was just puffed up bland bread. No part of the pizza felt authentic or "italian" and it was so average I don't even think I'm going to finish it. I felt like I could have had a nice warm large pizza from dominos for the price I paid for a small here. Unfortunately, I don't think I will be returning to get seconds from here. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 was because the staff was friendly...
Read moreI am new to Windsor and was busy with moving into my new house. My brother in-law recommended to try Roma's. I was looking for a new local place to do business with. Get some good food in my new home town. Needless to say the lady on the phone was very short and very rude and unaccommodating to my issue with not being able to print off a coupon from there website for 40 % off there carolis since I was in the middle of a move and not set up to print a coupon that is offered on there website. Plus, they do not have a digital coupon but you can print the coupon off of there website. ( Same thing isn't it ? ) How are you gonna advertise a coupon online and make people print it off like you we still in the stone ages. Not to mention not being environmentally friendly while living in the digital era. Make it easy for me to do business with you and develop a loyal customer, not difficult for me to spend my money with you. It is very apparent that you let your process get in the way of actually making money. Work smarter not harder! And small business owners complain all the time about Corporate business. Guess what they make it easy for people to do business with them! Ended up canceling my order with you and going somewhere else. Very disappointed in the fact that you made me home sick and miss my ole...
Read moreTried this place out with the family. It is tucked away in a strip mall off of the main street through town. Place was a little busy which is usually a good thing. We were seated quickly and the staff was fairly nice although a bit hurried which I suspect may have staff shortage like many restaurants lately. A decent number of options but we tried the following for our dinner. Family salad - this was just ok but would have been better with some more of the toppings and aox of lettuce instead of straight iceberg. We did like the dressing came on the side to allow you to dress your own. Meatball sliders - the meatballs were a good size but for our tastes there needed to be a bit more seasoning in the meatballs and the accompanying sauce. Cheese ravioli - the raviolis we're a good size with a good amount of filling but the sauce needed a bit more seasoning and can't say I've had ravioli with spaghetti as was done here. The accompanying bread could have done with some garlic. Hot house pizza - the crust was nicely done (crispy and not soggy) and definitely a good amount of toppings but it was lacking the heat we expected from its name and some of the toppings. Overall a decent hometown place with...
