Chili Thai II — Restaurant in Windsor

We came tonight and it took 15 minutes for anyone to even come over to our table to get our drink order. After we placed our order we waited and about 20 minutes in someone came over and said that they ran out of egg drop soup and we could choose another soup or wait 10 minutes for a fresh batch. We opted to wait and about 10 minutes later someone else came over and said they ran out of egg drop and it would take 10 minutes. I said someone already came over and we told them we would wait, and that was 10 minutes ago. Our entrees came out about 20 minutes after that and mine was scorching hot in some spots and ice cold in others. I told our waiter and he said the food is made fresh and theres no way it could be ice cold. He offered to microwave it and I told him that clearly it had already been microwaved because it was scorching hot in some parts. Again, his only solution was to microwave it. I'm upset because had I known I was paying for microwaved food I would have gone to the frozen section of the grocery store and saved myself the $$. We were there for an hour and 15 minutes and they still charged us for the ice cold entree! Will not be coming back here!

Edited to add that 3 hours after leaving I was sick the rest of the weekend... both ends.....

Terrible customer service! I will never spend my money here again. I have ordered the sesame chicken for my 4 yr old son for a year now and it was never spicy. this last time it was so spicy he cried because it hurt so much. I called to have the order replaced because my son has been sick and not eating much and we wanted him to have his favorite food. The person I talked to on the phone was extremly rude and didnt offer to remake the meal so I ordered and paid for another. When I picked up the new order I let the person at the front know that whoever I spoke to on the phone was extremly rude all he said was I dont know who you spoke to and tried to rush me out when the place was empty and obviously not busy. I told him I would be taking my business else where from now on and his response was "thats fine" salathai across the street has better curry better rice and better soups the only reason we came here was for the sesame chicken. We will not be back to...

I ordered the Drunken Noodle with chicken. First of all: it was the worst I’ve ever had. And I’ve had it at A LOT of other Thai restaurants (it’s all I ever order) so I know what to compare it to.

Secondly, I will give it to them that the taste was pretty decent (but it didn’t taste like Drunken Noodle!).

Thirdly, why was my “Drunken Noodle” so wet / saucy???? *There was loads more of that sauce under the noddles in the to-go tray that the picture doesn’t show.

The cashier was very friendly (she gets 5 stars). *I put two stars for service because the either the owner or the cook wouldn’t accommodate giving me a small sauce-cup of Prik Nam Pla. I was even willing to pay for it (which no other Thai restaurant has ever charged me for), but “We don’t do that” was the answer I got…

I’m trying not to be rude… but I would neeeever order from here...
