Along the Way Cafe — Restaurant in Winnemucca

This is a must stop if you’re in town! We were passing through and have it a chance and I’m so thankful we did. We were greeted by incredibly kind and friendly staff. I believe it was the owner who helped us and she was a breath of fresh air. The enthusiasm and kindness was contagious and a warm welcome. Not only was everyone kind, caring and fun but they were helpful and very knowledgeable on both coffee and their customers, which seems like something so basic but again, other places really drop the ball here. It was a stark difference to most other coffee shops we’ve been to. Along the Way Cafe raises the bar in my opinion. I hope the town of Winnemucca supports and celebrates this place, as they single handily made us want to come back to the town. Came off the road looking for a caffeinated oasis & found just that & more! Along the Way Cafe is a friendly, cozy, fun & tasty stop. We ordered the signature, Along the way latte & it did not disappoint—the subtle sweetness to espresso ratio was noteworthy. Also ordered was a made to order white chocolate coconut latte that tasted like an almond joy (just what we wanted)! The drip coffee is a delightful brew on hand. Absolutely lovely, from the drink and food selection to the decor. Custom drinks, build your own bagel.. lots of variety. They even have white coffee! My only issue is the wait time. For it to take 30 minutes to get your order when there's three workers behind the counter is honestly crazy to me. The staff feels very disorganized. There's been a few times where me and the other customers are sitting there, looking at each other like "...." It sucks. Every other aspect of this business is...
