Most important thing to me in choosing lodgings is cleanliness and safety. The townhouse motel checked both of those boxes. Our stay there actually was very nice… BUT… After we left, I was charged $50. I called the motel and they said they would get back to me. I called every day for almost a week. They still kept putting me off. They said the manager would call me. They never did. Hotels.com got involved, and they could not reach the manager either. Then I was told that the manager had taken care of it, which they have not. It has now been one month, and now when I call they don’t answer. We did not have any pets, we did not steal anything (I had asked if this is why they had charged me $50 because they thought we stole 2 towels. There were NO bath towels in our room. I went to the front office the next morning to get bath towels but they did not answer the door ). We did not check out late, we did not trash the place, we did not break anything. ||We travel across Nevada regularly, and I originally had thought that we would stay in the townhouse motel again, but never again. I left a review on Hotels.com and tried to edit it after I learned of this charge and their refusal to do anything about it, but they won’t let me edit it. I wonder how many people have been scammed by the...
Read moreAlthough the front desk staff were nice and the motel otherwise seemed to be in acceptable condition, I woke up in the middle of the night to find bites all over my arm and a bed bug in the bed with me. I found 3 bed bugs in the room in total. The hotel didn't have any other rooms to put me in and I really didn't want to stay after that anyway, so I had to drive several hours on hardly any sleep.
I contacted the motel 3 times, one of the times speaking directly with the manager Dillon, who told me that they do not have bed bugs. I had not only emailed them photos of the bugs, but the dead bed bugs I managed to kill were still in the room for them to see.
Dillon refused to issue me a refund for this service (hotel stay) that they were not able to provide due to unsafe conditions. I was hoping I could work directly with the motel and that I would be assured that they would treat the room so that future guests wouldn't be bitten, but instead I was essentially gaslit by the manager. I have never left a bad review for anyone before, but I wanted to inform other travelers that they have an issue that the hotel is not...
Read moreI will NEVER stay here again. In the middle of our stay (not even the day we were supposed to check out) the manager gave our room key to a homeless man that they use every now and again to help clean rooms. They gave him the key to our room to check to see if we were still there. The man went into our room and he stole my AirPod Pros. I tracked them to the other side of town. I called the police and filed a report. I asked for a refund for my stay and reimbursement for my Airpods. They gave me cash for the Airpods, but not a refund. They said they would refund us for the stay. I have since called twice to check on the refund and the first time she said it takes a while and the 2nd time, she ended up hanging up on me after she said she would talk to her boss. What a HORRIFIC violation of privacy!!! We wanted to stay here because it looked like a nice, local, mom and pop motel and it is farthest from that. The owner lives in California and has crooks and thieves running the business. DO NOT...
