Monkey House — Restaurant in Winooski

New pizza slices are good, but the service was... not. After waiting a few minutes to order (no big deal - there are other folks around to serve) I ordered two drinks and a slice of pizza. the bartender gave me my two drinks and I carried them to my table using all two of my hands. When I returned to the bar seconds later for the pizza, the bartender said 'try not to leave the bar while we're serving you.'

Which is to say: expect attitude from the staff unless you have three functioning arms.

The Monkey House is a really nice small venue in Winooski, VT where you can go see a concert by local bands and artists. You can enjoy playing billiards, chatting with other patrons and enjoy your favorite beverage. They have good choices of beer on tap. They serve panini sandwiches at the bar which are pretty decent. The staff are friendly. Parking can be a nuisance. There are pay at the meter parking lots and spaces, but it is strongly recommend that you carpool or take pubic...

I left a mostly full beer on the bar and went outside for a smoke. When I came back the beer was gone. When I inquired with the staff they brushed me off with 'we're not responsible for beer'. I picked up a cocktail that I know was abandoned, 20 minutes later a bartender asks me if I've been drinking unattended drinks. I say yes. He jumps onto the bar, down from the bar, grabs my arm, and pushes me out the door. Nice atomsphere, cool crowd, lousy and sometimes...
