This place should be shut down asap nothing there is good I ordered the bbq chicken baked mac and yams. Let me tell you disappointment. The bbq chicken was boiled chicken with a dab of sauce on top. Baked mac and cheese was dry as a hell no cheese no milk no butter and no seasoning. The yam were just that yams no cinnamon sugar butter. THE WHOLE MEAL NOTHING FLAVOR NO LOVE. And everyone on here saying the food is good is a damn lie and don't know anything about good food and great taste. SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN ASAP. AND THE STUFF IS SUPER RUDE.. because when I asked for a refund the lady got smart cursed at me and try to kick me out because I told them this food is nothing like soul food and it looks horrible. I ordered several things to feed 4 people. I got a big pan of fried chicken, hibachi shrimp, mac and cheese, Cabbage, rice and gravy, cornbread. The chicken was the only edible thing. The rest tasted like it came from a factory. It didn't taste like souk southern food at all. Everything had a similar taste to it like it was all cooked in the same pot. The mac & cheese was really dry, the chicken tasted like old oil, the shrimp are advertised to be jumbo but they were not jumbo. They were fishy. Good southern cabbage is always a favorite of mine but this cabbage is a disgrace. I don't know who owns this place but I don't think they are from the south. I returned to try their fish my son was raving over it. I also heard good things about their chicken. I purchased a fish & chicken platter which contained 3 whiting fish and 2 chicken wings. My two sides were lima beans and candied yams. The pic below clearly shows Butter beans and they were hard the candied yams was missing alot. The taste of the yams leaves you thinking how they got by so far. The fish was good and the fried chicken was seasoned to perfection. So as it stands I will never order mac & cheese, cabbage or their version of lima beans. Most of their sides need help. My son tried watermelon in container and loves it I will be trying that soon.
