Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Winston-Salem

The manager at this locate is TRASH. The fellow with the dreads in the back should be it because when i complained about be straight up LIED to about a delivery of a pizza, at LEAST he cared enough to listen AND resolve! The sad part about that is she gave him the DIRTEST LOOK when he did it. SHAMEFUL! As a manager, you should praise when your team resolves and makes a customer who spends MONEY with them (aka paying YOUR BILLS) happy after such a horrible experience!. She even lied saying she thought i was carryout (reason why i never got a call ), but did you not confirm my DELIVERY address and tell me it would be 25 mins? Are yall phone calls not recorded? All she did was hand me my pizza and TRY To brush me off. Listen, i work customer service ALL DAY LONG, simple communication and problem resolve is customer service 101. She DOES NOT HAVE THAT. The only thing she does have is B.O which makes the front of the restaurant miserable to stand in. For an order to be taken, told that it will be at your home in 25 mins and to get off work and find out that you was not only lied too, but was going to be treated terribly like YOU did something and not them is UNACCEPTABLE. Disgusting and disappointing anyone? Pizza hut has always been a little cheat sheet, a nice go to for Nostalgia and family adventure. This place is no different. It's clear why Pizza Hut is remembered fondly but not currently looked at fondly the day or always makes you feel a warm sense of pride especially with how big the box is, it makes you think your about to enjoy a 90's lovefest with your family and relax. But soon you realize this is 2024 and the flavors, and food isn't what you remember it. We as a family made it through 1/2 a pizza before we had the swift intent to trash the rest. Also, I'm not even sure what these wings were, because they weren't seasoned. It literally felt like someone spit the seasoning on the wings and shook them, there was not even close to enough of it. Even the dry old donut holes were no good, it probably could have been made to feel a bit better but the warm Mountain Dew quickly reminded me of playing a PS2 game that just was a knock off of what I really wanted. Overall the ordering experience and wait were not bad at all. The main issue was manager Tammie’s attitude towards me when trying to receive my order. She continuously told me that my order was already picked up by someone else when it was not. When we figured out that I placed the order through Uber eats for pickup, she told me that I was “out of luck and that I could not leave with the order if I wanted to” because she could not check out the order despite me showing her proof that the order was paid for. After I told her and showed her proof of my purchase, she proceeded to make derogatory remarks about my ordering method as well as comments about myself. She stated to the crew in a mocking tone “guys we gotta get those cheese sticks ready he is looking at his pizza in the window” and shook her head at me. The nail in the coffin was when she demanded I wait out in the car for my order instead of patiently waiting in the lobby for my order.
