Pizza good but poor inconsistent customer service.
I was there tonight (6/5/2018) and ordered a sub and large pizza. I placed the order online and requested the pizza to be party cut (in squares).
I'm not sure why I keep giving this location my money, because 8/10 the order is incorrect.
On one occasion when it was made incorrectly, the cashier blurted out "well we cant give it to you for free". Um, never did I ask for a free pizza. I want what I ordered and paid for.
Tonight when I got home of course the pizza was not cut in squares. I was furious. I immediately called the store.
I asked to speak with manager. Lucky me, girl on the line says she is the manager. I explain to her that I just left their store and my party cut pizza was definitely not party cut.
The explaination from her, oh they must have missed it. It was in the middle of the ticket.
I said ma'am I ordered toppings for the pizza and those are correct. How can they miss it?? She says" I don't know what happened".
Seriously? That's it? She says" I can make another one if you want".
I said "ma'am, really? Are you seriously a manager? Any normal manager would have said "I am so sorry this happened"
She then says me, "well you didn't let me finish".
So I let her "finish". Still a few moments into her rambling, I said "ma'am I still haven't heard an apology". She then flatly says " I'm sorry".
Really Hungry Howies? This is management at your Winter Haven 6th Street location? ?
That manager needs retraining and re–educating.
The solution isn't acting like you couldnt care less and you just throw another pizza at the problem. All she had to say was " I'm sorry, we need to be better about this!" A simple, "I'll talk to the cooks regarding this" would have sufficed. This loocation was my preferred store, but honestly after tonight I give up on Hungry Howies altogether. Very...
Read moreI work at the Assisted Living Facility approximately 0.3 miles from this location. I ordered a sub and a drink at 1:00 on the dot. I called at 1:40 to check the status of my order and to let the delivery driver know to call me so I could come down from my patients room. The food was just put in the oven...at 2:10 I called to see where my food was and how long it was going to be before arrival and she said that she wasn’t sure that he should be here shortly. 2:30 comes and he finally shows up. She had an attitude because I was inquiring about the food that I paid for. Don’t set an expectation of 60 minutes before receiving food it your not going to put the food in the oven until almost an hour after receiving the order. That’s absolutely ridiculous!!! I literally was 3 minutes down the road and it took him almost 40 minutes to bring it down the road. Work on your customer service and hire some more flipping...

I called to check on the order representative told me that the order is on its way another 45 minutes pass. I’ call again the worker Lied and told me they tried to contact me when clearly on my call log I had no missed calls from hungry Howie’s. Also the initial worker who took my order order did not input my address correctly I’ve ordered from this location numerous of times. I’m very dissatisfied with the services ..
