Paddy Wagon Irish Pub — Restaurant in Winter Haven

Paddy's is a nice casual place to go and have a drink and watch the game/socialize/cool down. It is smoker friendly and the staff is wonderful. Clean bathroom (ladies - one person bathroom, knock before entering). Plenty of space inside as well as outside seating. Parking in front and in back, with entrances on both sides. Anything you need they will take care of you. They have pretty good deals you may partake in. BOGO drinks via Facebook and text code BOGO as well (just ask the bartender). They have a jukebox that has almost every song you can think of. The jukebox is one of my favorite perks of this bar. Who doesn't love music, right? They mostly play sports on the TV sets, however they also have some really fun trivia on only one TV at all times. I enjoy this because I am not much of a sports fan, so it is nice to have something entertaining to do while my boyfriend enjoys his sports. I have actually seen people form teams and play against each other on their phones! It is fun to watch. They have good WIFI. Bring a comfortable sweater if you get cold easily. This bar loves its air-conditioning! Chelsea is the BEST. My boyfriend and I love her to pieces. She is so charming and she is an excellent bar tender. If you like fruity-tropical type drinks, ask Chelsea to make you a drink called "liquid marijuana" because she makes the BEST one EVER. She always puts us in a good mood. Marco deserves a shout out as well. He is great to converse with, very down to earth and has a great sense of humor. He is very professional as a bar tender. Hate to say it but never going back here been coming for almost 3 years and bartenders are still great however nothing even close to the Irish pub it used to be. It’s always the same music every night by the same person you could drop 20 dollars in that machine and you won’t here your song for hours never mind the pool table unless you go right up and out quarters down on it even then someone will probably steal them like it’s happened to us before unless you’re a regular here every night don’t waste your time or money you won’t have any priority here you’re better off staying home and drinking unless you’re just getting a quick one I will drive over an hour away to a different bar before I come back again. It’s terrible because my fiancé and I used to love coming here it’s where she had her first drink and our first date so many good memories but in the past year I can barely remember a time we walked out smiling...

Went on a weekday afternoon. Had more of a Jersey sports book vibe than that of an Irish pub. Old guys sucking on bud lite watching ESPN and fiddling with their phones. The Bartender couldn’t pour a proper pint of Guinness to save her life although she did try. New style Guinness glass. Bubbles clinging to the inside of the glass which means it either wasn’t clean or wasn’t dry to begin with. Absolutely no domeage and way too much head. Schtick was OK but not great.
