Ripples Handcrafted Ice Cream — Restaurant in Winter Haven

Ripples is hands down the best spot for gelato in the Winter Haven/Lakeland area! They make everything from scratch, including their own cones! Which is such a rare find with ice cream these days…mostplaces rely on pre-made bases or artificial ingredients, but not here. You can truly taste the difference that fresh, high-quality ingredients make—the flavors are vibrant, the texture is perfectly creamy, and it’s everything a gelato should be.

I had chocolate and raspberry, and both were exceptional. The freshness of the ingredients really enhances the experience, allowing each bite to be rich and flavorful without being overly sweet or heavy. I even bought a pint to enjoy at home!

Benjamin, the chef and owner, is incredibly welcoming, passionate about his craft, and clearly dedicated to creating something special. Ripples is a true gem in the area, and it’s a must-visit for anyone who appreciates authentic, artisanal, high...

Not worth your time in any capacity, unless you want to be treated with no respect. I assume the owner was the one who took my large groups orders and he was close to no help at all. I asked if I could have a sample before committing to a flavor, considering they are very different. I was told “we don’t give out free samples.” And nothing more. I then ordered and paid for my ice cream. Not once was I offered the sample after my purchase. After reading several responses from the owner, they offer samples to paying customers. Very disappointed that it wasn’t offered to me when he was explicitly told I was choosing between mango and chocolate. Altogether, the shop needs to reevaluate how they choose to interact with paying customers, if they’d like to keep people...

Ripples is hands down the best ice cream shop I’ve ever visited! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with the sweet aroma of freshly made waffle cone. Their selection of flavors is out of this world – everything from classic Madagascar Vanilla, Ethos Coffee Chip, or Single Origin Chocolate to inventive, seasonal creations such as Whiskey Caramel or Pistachio that keep you coming back for more . The ice cream is incredibly creamy, with just the right balance of sweetness and bold flavor.
