Pro: Interior decor was tidy, organized, and clean. Fried donuts were puffy, rolled in sugar with condensed creamy dip and there’s a lot for one order.
Neutral: At Asia Kitchen, I ordered the bento with Mongolian beef bento and a kid’s hibachi chicken. The stir fry Mongolian beef was okay. I do appreciate how they make the stir fry sauce not oily like at other Chinese restaurants. It’s cooked with a lot of white onions, carrots, and zucchini, not the typical scallions I expected. This bento meal is served with dried bland steamed jasmine rice (not the premium fragrant jasmine rice) with a bonus piece of hair along, a vegetarian egg roll, and plain bland lomein noodle.
Con: (Edit: The owner reached out to explain the miscommunication. The cashier refers to the Bourbon chicken as tender using dark thigh meat, not the Hibachi Chicken.) I ended up ordering “Hibachi chicken” from the kids menu for my kids. Their hibachi chicken for the kids meal are cut up grilled white chicken breast. The meat texture is very dry, tough, and overcooked. Definitely not a kid-friendly choice for the kids so in the trash it went. If your kids like dried up, overcooked and tough chicken, go for it.
I don’t complain to them or demand for a refund or make them replace the kids meal. If I overcook white meat chicken at home, I would add it to my my compost bin or trash it. I would not dare serve it to anyone since it will end up in the trash anyway.
There are other restaurants out there that can cook white meat to tenderness regardless hibachi style or not. Overall, it’s not a restaurant I would come back to feed my kids who are my biggest...

I ordered Krab Rangoon and a Chicken Hibachi Combo for delivery (as there's a 14 dollar minimum for delivered orders). The sauce given to me for my Rangoon was quite thin/runny (among the thinnest I've seen) and lacked significant flavor. The Rangoon was slightly "off" in its filling (I think they used whipped cream cheese and very little crab meat, if any). My chicken's texture was as if it was pulled straight from one of those counter basins, and the flavor was not particularly impressive (even after dipping gratuitously in white sauce). My vegetables tasted as if they were steamed and then threw into the mix at the last second (as opposed to being cooked with soy sauce/on a hibachi grill with the chicken). The fried rice was palatable, however. My included egg roll was also fairly bland.
Fortunately, my food was delivered quickly and being able to swipe your card on arrival is a nice perk. Service at the front desk and by the driver is excellent. The fuel charge is insanely high in comparison to other establishments, however (four dollars verse like 1.50).
Overall, not a completely terrible experience. In my opinion, for the quality of ingredients/preparation (all the ingredients were there, just not in the correct ratios), the price is way too high. I spent almost 30 dollars for one person.
i would recommend trying this at least once to see if you like it, but for me? I probably wouldn't...
Read moreSimply put Asia Kitchen is awesome. The dishes are fresh and they have a wonderful variety. Staff is friendly and wants to accommodate you in any way that you can. Also the white sauce that they use rivals that of some of the Japanese steakhouses in the area (i.e. Kobe, which is my personal favorite). I so far have had the chicken lo mien, chicken broccoli and chicken hibachi. Needless to say chicken quality is important to me and from what I have tasted, everything is fresh and what you would expect quality food to taste like.
I cannot rave enough about the customer service. In my most recent order I made a portion of my hibachi order was accidently left out (fried rice). I called up Asia Kitchen and they offered to either refund part of my meal or deliver the portion that was left out. I was hungry so I opted to have them deliver it to me. Now here is what impressed me. Out of no request from me, the person who was taking the orders (I heard Penny, but after some research it may have been Pei Mei), took it upon herself to deliver the fried rice herself so that I wouldn’t have to wait (since the normal delivery person was out on a faraway delivery). It is rare for me to see people take such initiative with customer service and I was so happy and grateful for the extra steps taken for my business. Especially since so many places nowadays just don’t seem to try anymore.
In short, you will not be...
