Boardwalk Pizza boasts an extensive and diverse menu. Their wide selection of Italian and American dishes is expertly prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. I love Boardwalk Pizza for their... well, you guessed it... their pizza! They sell it by the slice for just a few bucks, making it a great option for a quick lunch break. However, trust me: you'll regret not getting the whole pie later! They have unique and flavorful signature pizzas, like the "Great White": a heavenly combo of mozzarella, ricotta, provolone, and garlic. They also nail classic pizza. The crust is delicious, the thickness and texture are perfect, and they bake it for just the right amount of time. But limiting this review to just pizza wouldn't do the restaurant justice. They have a huge variety of options. For example, their Specialties include Calzones, Stromboli, Veggie Rolls, and Hippie Rolls (sausage, green pepper, onions, mozzarella, and provolone). My personal favorite dish at Boardwalk is actually an appetizer: Garlic Knots. They are oversized, warm, and perfectly baked twists, brushed with olive oil and sprinkled with garlic and Romano cheese. They're to die for! You can't get the full Boardwalk experience without leaving room for dessert. The Cannoli and Chocolate Mousse Cake will take your breath away. My only wish is that the restaurant would stay open later. They close at 8:00 PM on Monday and Tuesday! The latest they are open is 10:00 PM on Friday and Saturday. I know they would get a lot more business if they extended their hours, especially...
Read morealright, so this review has been overdue for a WHILE! I am a celiac, diagnosed for 10+ years. In those 10+ years, i have tried numerous pizzas. In state, out of state, local, grocery store, chains, small businesses, you name it. When I tell you NO ONE comes close to the pizza I get here at boardwalk, I mean it. The pizza here is my constant benchmark. I could eat it all of the time and I know it’ll taste just as good each time I take a bite. No pizza I’ve eaten in my life comes close, and this is the place I go when I’m craving some good pizza! The staff and family that own this place know what they’re doing, they’re kind and attentive, and always care. The restaurant is full of real people who care about what they do, and that’s what matters most. While I understand there can be bad experiences, the bad reviews left on this place do not describe the majority of instances. I have been eating here since even before my diagnosis, and when my family and I found out we could come back and eat as a family we were ecstatic!! Boardwalk is THE place I recommend people to eat if they’re looking for hearty, relaxed, and damn good food. This place is wonderful, and has stated that way for years. I can’t...
Read moreI saw a post from Lisa Coney about this place. I was there that night and her post is not accurate. She walked into a pizza place with 13 tables with 4 seats at each on a Friday night at 7:00 ish. She had a party of 7 with no reservation. I was on the list for about 20 minutes before she arrived. The food and service is worth the wait so my husband and I were happy to wait our turn. I would have been upset if they seated her before me because… first come, first served. I heard the staff apologize to the party multiple times and even gave them free food. We even complimented the staff on how well they dealt with her and her party. Her assessment is inaccurate of the actual events. I would not have been so nice as we heard her snide comments and nasty tone. She should be embarrassed to return herself. I think she owes an apology to the staff for her behavior. We will continue to be a loyal patron of Boardwalk Pizza because of their food and also their...
