Five Mountain Tavern — Restaurant in Winter Park

Got off the mountain and was craving fries and beer. We were the second group (of 3 ppl) who walked in and we waited 20min for anyone to come by to take our order. I walked up to the bar to order our drinks and the person behind the bar said that he was the host and couldn’t help me... well obviously your not doing a good job hosting if the customer is coming to you to order. There was only one server who wasn’t very efficient in the flow...

Full disclosure I just started bartending here this week but the menu is brand new (not the same as posted online as of today, 7/1) and the food is really fantastic. I am genuinely impressed! Awesome pizzas, cooked to order fresh burgers and fish tacos at the top of my list. I also make a fantastic Perfect Patron Margarita hand made from scratch with fresh squeezed lime and orange....

The food was great, no problem there. The problem is the service. We sat there forever waiting while the owners helped every other table but ours. Drinks sat empty and took forever to get the check. Then the best part is they make you pay 18% tip included in the bill so can’t leave $0 for the horrible...
