I have been a platinum rewards member for many months now. It's $6.99 a month to get free delivery and $15 off when you reach a certain number of rewards points. Each dollar you spend goes towards your points. It's not too difficult for me to get the $15 off because when I order from PF Chang's, I tend to spend well over $75, sometimes over $100. I signed up for the Platinum Rewards because my partner and I both love the restaurant. We ordered from here regularly. I would really love to give this restaurant an outstanding review. A month ago, that would have been the case. However, after my last encounter with this restaurant, I would be lying if I said they were worthy of an outstanding review. Not only was our entire order screwed up, but the food was inedible, there were items missing, it arrived cold, and we had JUST made the monthly payment for their Platinum rewards program. The order total was about $90. The only thing that arrived correctly were the lettuce wraps, (which I highly recommend, from a different location,) and the brussel sprouts, (also, save yourself the hassle and go to a different PF Chang's). Both are CRAZY expensive, though. Have your wallet out if you're planning to dine here. Both desserts were made incorrectly, we didn't even receive our $6 beverages, the honey chicken was served without any sauce, rice sticks, or the sides of fruit that I paid extra for. I even wrote a request for EXTRA SAUCE AND RICE STICKS! Instead, they gave me none. My partner ordered Pad Thai, again, with several simple, yet necessary, customizations that were completely overlooked. In other words, she could not eat her food at all. EVERYTHING WAS WRONG. We were extremely upset because of the enormous waste of money and the lack of effort by the employees. If something wasn't available, my phone number and email address were very clearly written on the order and in the app. They could have contacted us to ask us what we would like instead of whatever wasn't available, if that was the case, which of course, it wasn't. It just proves that no one was paying attention or really caring about what they were serving to their loyal customers. They threw a couple of items in a bag, gave it to the delivery driver, and charged us over $90 for a bag of food that we didn't want, and couldn't eat. If it's a delivery order, they don't have to deal with the customer face to face, so who cares if the order is right? Unfortunately for them, that was not so. We immediately called the restaurant and asked for a manager. When we explained the situation to him after a very long time on hold, he offered no empathy or understanding. In fact, he actually LAUGHED AT US. I truly wish I had recorded the conversation so I could post it. I was aghast. I still am. It wasn't until we threatened to call corporate that he decided he would refund us, but only for part of our meal. He refused to refund the whole thing, even though we explained that the entire thing was wrong, and basically a bag of trash. He also claimed that our $35 refund would take about an hour. Well, sadly for him, we DID CALL CORPORATE IMMEDIATELY AFTER, only to find out that the general manager of this PF Chang's not only laughed at us, but he also LIED TO US ABOUT THE REFUND. Corporate informed us that the refund would not go through for 3 to 5 business days. They were very pleasant to speak to, though, and were incredibly empathetic and professional. They sent us additional gift cards to help make up for this restaurant lack of customer service, to say the least, and downright disrespect. PF Chang's is a great restaurant. Just not...
Read moreI honestly go to P.F Chang's a lot. It is my go to spot for rough nights and when I'm looking for something good. I ALWAYS get the chicken fried rice, rarely do I get other items. The chicken fried rice is the best comfort food for me. I order it without carrots, and if I can I go for extra egg and extra chicken (depending on my funds I go for extra egg over extra chicken). When it's good it is INCREDIBLE. However, my only grip with P.F Chang's is how inconsistent the rice seems to be. I order the rice enough to know that the quality isn't always guaranteed. Sometimes the rice is undercooked and I get clumps of white rice that have no flavor, other times it seems to be spicy when I order regular, and sometimes the chicken deters on the edge of raw an cooked. Though I can't lie, I go to many P.F Chang's from everywhere in the country and this is a problem everywhere not just this specific location. It is always the same problems with the same mix of inconsistency. However the thing that really got me to write this review is that last weekend I placed my usual order, but I also got a drink and a chocolate cake. I did order through doordash but when my order arrived I only got 1/3 of my items. I made a call to P.F Chang's to see what they could do, but since it was a order through a 3rd party they couldn't do anything on their end. Which was understandable, I did get my refund from doordash and replaced the order for my items and as compensation I got an extra order of fried rice. No complaints from service for me, I wish I could tip more but as a broke college student I really can't at the moment. Love it here! I always recommend the fried rice to my friends whenever we go an they've always loved it. Life would be o good if the prices were a bit...
Read moreLast night, we placed a delivery order for 3 items directly through the Winter Park P.F. Chang’s website. The order was delivered by UberEats. When we saw that an item was missing, we called the UberEats driver to let him know the issue. He told us to contact the restaurant directly. This made sense since there is a message at the bottom of the email order confirmation instructing customers to contact P.F. Chang’s Winter Park with order or delivery issues; the location’s phone number was also included (see picture). As instructed, I called the restaurant and told the female worker, who answered the phone, my issue. She told me that I would have to call UberEats to have the issue resolved. When I told her I had already called UberEats and explained I had been instructed to call the restaurant (and also referenced the message in the email confirmation to call the restaurant directly), she repeated the same instructions to me. By this point, I was confused. In a tone caked in annoyance, she told me I could talk to a manager, but he was just going to tell me the same thing. I declined to speak with a manager since that seemed pointless. The worker seemed frustrated and frazzled by her own company’s lack of ability to resolve this conflict and abruptly ended the call without a closing remark.
The food that we did receive was equally as disappointing—lackluster, tasteless, and dry. It was on par with a frozen, microwave meal.
On a good note, we learned that this restaurant is not worthy of our business. There are too many other places with much better customer service and food in the area. Thank you, P.F. Chang’s, for helping us...
