Piacci Eatery — Restaurant in Winter Park

Hands down, Piacci Eatery offers one of the best sandwiches in Central Florida.

We’ve been long time fans of Vinia, where Fabio and his team craft incredible dishes inspired by Italian and Portuguese influences. Piacci is a pop-up during the daytime, offering salad, sandwiches and pastas. We have now eaten at Piacci four times for lunch and we will keep coming back. Our favorite is the Vinaio sandwich: Mortadella, Crema Pistacchio, Burrata, Arugula. The bread is so perfect because it doesn’t hurt your mouth like so many toasted sandwiches do lol. The pastas, salad, and meatballs are also fantastic, and the service is like you’re visiting family. Fabio and his team deliver excellent quality every time.

You can dine in or order for pickup. We love dining in because it always feels like we’ve left Orlando and are sitting in a quiet Italian cafe in Europe.

Went to try the pop-up from the amazing team at Vinia. The pasta and pizza were incredible. Service was stellar as always. Important to note they don’t do any of the Vinia stuff during the day or the Piacci stuff at night but it’s amazing to have this available during the day in winter park. Excited for them to try new things (and be damn tasty at it).

Things not to miss: the sage cream sauce on the Alfredo, any of the pizzas with red sauce and that CRUST. The tiramisu that isn’t exactly tiramisu but still calls home to it. I likened it to a bruleed marshmallow sauce on a cosmic brownie kissed by coffee - but made gourmet and delicious (and probably a lot healthier).

Lunch at Piacci is exceptional. If you are looking for an authentic Italian experience…no fuss, quick lunch…then Piacci is a must. I’ve probably tried everything on their small, very well curated menu. Today, I had their salad. There’s only one salad on the menu…and it’s outstanding. Just the perfect amount of salad dressing! Fresh as fresh can be…and the burrata was delish! Their pasta is outstanding and I dare say they have the best Italian sandwiches outside of the “mother country”. Here’s to many more...
