Before going to Something New Bridal Boutique, I had tried on wedding dresses in another city. I couldn’t find anything I was crazy about. Then I went to Something New Bridal Boutique and WOW! The first dress I tried on there was the dress I said yes to. I loved all the other dresses I tried on too but I knew the first one was the one. The fine detail and design was to die for. The owner, Dilek, has very unique and exquisite dresses at her boutique; she travels to Europe often to find rare and beautiful dresses, and they truly all are gorgeous. At this first visit, everyone was so helpful, they were focused on me and made me feel very comfortable. They also pinned all the dresses that I tried on perfectly so I could actually envision what I would look like in the right size. When I chose my dress, they got my exact measurements so they could send it to the designer; this worked out perfectly and when the dress arrived it fit so great and only needed a few alterations (that they do at the boutique for you)! The fittings and alterations went great and the final product fit perfectly. The boutique is intimate, comfortable and gorgeous inside. When I went back for my fittings, they opened an upstairs portion to the store and it was beautiful inside – tastefully designed and very relaxed. They were so helpful throughout the process and answered all of my questions. They also gave me great tips on undergarments to wear with the dress. I was so excited to wear the dress on the day of my wedding. It was (and probably will be) the most beautiful dress I will ever wear! I received so many compliments from my wedding guests. I’m preserving my dress because I can’t bear parting with it. My wedding pictures came out great and show the beautiful detail. I bought my wedding dress from Something New, and I love it! I was able to do a dress off the rack within my budget, and the alterations will be minimal because it fits me so well. Their store is beautiful, they only schedule one bride at a time, and they have 4 different ladies pulling dresses for you, so that you get different styles/opinions. However, they schedule each bride only one hour apart....and I was having a hard time thinking because the ladies were constantly in and out, and they didn't really give me space to talk to my family. They keep the curtain of the dressing room closed until you're posed exactly right--so I spent a lot more time in the dressing room with the shop ladies than I did talking through things with my sister/family. By the time I found my dress and wanted to put on my veil to see the whole picture, their next bride was there and they had to move me to the lobby. They really strive to create a "say YES to the dress" experience, which I think a lot of people like! But I just felt a lot of pressure. Once the other bride was there and some of the ladies went away to take care of her, I felt more relaxed and was able to talk more with my sister and mom about the dress. If you want to have more time, or don't like having every sales lady staring at you, then I would go to a place that takes more than one bride or allows you more time to decide. This boutique offers an exceptional wedding dress shopping experience. They only take 1 bride at a time, so it makes it a very intimate and fun experience. Also, there are 2 wonderful stylist/managers helping you try on the dresses and find your style. They are literally like your fairy tale god mothers. Their customer service is exceptional. I went to 7 dress shops before coming here and I found both of my dresses here. They have very beautiful dresses of course, and some of their dresses are very unique as well. The dresses I purchased are beautiful and unique and they also helped me stay within my budget without sacrificing quality and style. I honestly did not think I would find those kind of dresses and stay within budget. Although my dresses were off the rack sales, they are in perfect condition. After I bought my dresses, I went through what I think most brides do, which is buyers remorse. Nevertheless, Emma, who is one of the store managers, made me feel that she truly cares about how I feel about the dress and that they are here to help me find a solution and make sure that I am happy and confident with my purchase. I still need to go back to complete my look by adding a veil, which they can custom make one for my dress.
