On January 12th my cousin and I visited as part of my birthday celebration. First time here and I wanted to visit since it’s gone viral online plus I haven’t visited this part of Orlando. We visited about 1ish and it was busy; It was as expected since it was a Sunday. We walked in and waited because we didn’t know how it worked. A few minutes have gone by and we were not greeted yet and waited some more. 20 minutes have gone by and we have watched others be greeted when they walked in and we are still waiting. I finally went up and asked how all this worked and the girl who I spoke to was a little surprised and apologized (I appreciated the apology). As we were checking in, she asked us if we have ever been and I said “no I’m not from here and I traveled about 40 mins just to come”. She was surprised and then she recommended a few places around the area because it was going to be about a 40 minute wait before we got seated. This was fine and was expected since it was the weekend. I asked her where the places were that she recommended and she had a slight pause before she said “oh you can look it up on google”. I was a little push off by it so I brushed it off. My cousin and I decided to walk to the downtown looking area for about an hour until we decided to walk back to the studio to see if there was an update. While walking we were called and the girl on the phone told us where we were going to be sitting. We walked in, found our table and sat to put our stuff down. We used the restroom and waited again at our table to see if someone could come to give us some sort of instruction. It was about 10-15 mins at this point; we wanted to get started so we got up and picked the pieces we wanted to paint. We got our pieces and sat down and had some hope that someone would finally come and greet us/ give some instruction because we had no idea on how any of this worked. Once again we saw others sit down and automatically get greeted and were given a “tutorial”/instructions. I was getting a little upset because we didn’t have a good experience at the start and it just kept going. I got up and asked the girl if we could get a tutorial because we didn’t know how it worked. She seemed annoyed and she rushed through the instructions. I kind of wished I didn’t ask because of how she explained everything and just seemed annoyed that I even asked for help. My cousin and I had a great time with each other while we were painting; it brought up good memories from our childhood where we use to go to a pottery studio back in California. We were panting for about two hours almost three hours. We cleaned up and waited at our table since we watched others get checked out at their table and pay. We once again waited and hoped someone would come to us. I wanted to leave so I went up to the counter and waited to pay and let them know we were done. It was another 10 minutes until someone came up to help. There was the same girl who had been helping us from the start at the paint area, we made eye contact a few times and I thought she would help but she did not. We went to pick up our pieces and it took a while to have them find them. Overall, I had a good time because it was my birthday and I wasn’t going to let this ruin my day but it did sucked that we had to go through all of that for it being...
Read moreI want to start with how excited I was to go to this place with my daughter, she is creative and artistic so this was right up her alley. When we first arrived we ran into the first issue Parking,no clear signed in where to park had to street park.Once we got in the place was super nice but so crowded, we got online and waited 15 min until someone helped us to only find out we got waitlisted, not sure why seeing there where a few open tables, but we then waited another 45 min until it was our time we picked our pottery and I must say they have a large assortment and it was nice but pricing is pretty up there so be ready to pay. We finally sat down and we where next to a large bday party, so it was hard to enjoy our time as we kept getting bumped into and kids trying to touch our paint, we really had no idea what to do as no one was there to explain anything they where all to focused on the party. We focus on our pieces and once we were done, we took them to the front. We were told that they would be ready to few days and we would get a call Jason state son the site. Three weeks went by and we did not hear anything so I called them, the young lady that answered it was super rude and annoyed at the fact I had called in regards to my pieces telling me that they don’t call people that we were just supposed to show up pick them up, I live in Lake Mary, which is about 20 minutes away on a good day, so just stopping by on a whim is not convenient, especially if they were not ready, so I go down there to pick up my pieces and the manager Sidney is the one that helped me, it took her quite a while to find my pieces and eventually when they did, she rushed me out of here because she was too busy focusing on other people store. Needless to say, this experience with warm off, shall timer for my daughter and I and we did not enjoy it as we should have, I definitely will not be returning, and I sure hope their stuff gets better, and they have a better...
Read moreOur experience at All Fired Up was phenomenal! It was our first time at this location and we arrived about 15 minutes after they opened. It was already starting to get fairly busy but as soon as we walked in we were greeted and asked if it was our first time and if we needed help with anything or wanted a tour.
We were walked through all of their pottery options for painting and the individual (whose specific name I can’t remember) who helped us thoroughly explained the whole process to us. She was very friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming!
The whole experience inside of the location was wonderful. Excellent music taste (chill, indie pop playlist that keeps the good vibes going). The staff would circle around the store frequently (but not too much) to make sure we had everything we needed for our art pieces. They were very helpful and showed us how to blow bubbles onto our art pieces along with the proper techniques for taping, painting, marbling, and everything in between.
The assistant manager, Ruby, was very nice and professional. Her staff that helped us, CJ and Taylor (and I think there was one more person that helped us but I don’t know their name), were excellent as well!
They had numerous colors to choose from, all of the paint supplies you could possibly need to make an amazing and unique art piece, and the pricing was very reasonable! The cost on the bottom of your art piece is for the whole experience. No added fees (at least for our experience)! We spent about 2 hours creating our art pieces and that was because I was using many different colors and techniques (my partner was done way before me), so people should definitely plan to just take their time and enjoy the experience.
We will definitely be back and we want to bring our friends to show them how much fun it is...
