Rude, non-staff "working" here. Terrible curry.

Here's the story...

They packed my take out order in such a way that when I pulled out of my parking spot slowly it tipped over. Curry started leaking out of the container into the plastic bag, but worse yet it turns out the plastic bag was like a sieve. Curry spilling out all over my car floor through the plastic bag. Yikes.

I quickly go inside to ask for a towel and end up getting a huge amount of attitude from the woman behind the bar who I thought was working there. "Are you sure it's not your fault?!" she's yelling at me as I'm trying to get towels to clean my car.

It turns out it was the wife of one of the relatives of the owner who was just "helping out", so someone not even working there is giving me attitude and trying to blame me for their obviously poor packing job.

In the end, they refunded my order and someone else had to apologize for this woman's continued bad behavior and continued raised voice and snide remarks as I calmly explained to the owner what was going on.

P.S. Worst part is, when I got home I found that the curry is very watery. I had to call back and ask if they had put water in the curry to make up for the part that spilled out. The girl who helped me said no, they just put some extra curry in. Wow. So little flavor and so watery, I really couldn't believe this was how they make their food.

Even though they gave me a certificate for a free meal on them next time, I doubt I will go back. It's so not good, it's not even worth it when free.

My wife and I were supposed to enjoy some Thai take out and watch a movie tonight, but this whole scene consumed so much time (including more car clearing at home), our movie night is not going to happen.

In summary...

Ruined my Sunday night. Need to get my car professionally cleaned (the sauce soaked into the floor mats and seat). Terrible attitude. And bad food.

If I could give 0 or negative...

The prices here at the Siam Garden Thai Restaurant were an amazing deal for their quality of food!

I ordered the Praram Chicken dish and I had expected soupy peanut sauce with very little meat, because based on the previous Thai restaurants I visited, that was how that same dish was served; with prices even higher than the ones here.

But at this particular establishment, all I experienced were incredible prices, sweet delicious food, and a fullness that would last me through the rest of the evening.

Their restaurant atmosphere was true to their Thai roots, and their waiters and waitresses demonstrated excellent service, checking up on me and my partner to make sure we had our needs met.

Another bonus is when they thanked us and wished us well as we left their establishment. This doesn't seem like a big deal to a lot of customers, but to me it is, as it influences my own lasting impressions with the eatery.

I cannot recommend this place enough. I will be sure to revisit this place with my boyfriend, my family, and my friends if we ever find ourselves in the mood to try Thai food again; this restaurant was...

If you are looking for an authentic Thai restaurant with delicious dishes bursting with flavors and generous portions, look no more!!! Don't let the place fool you from the outside. Go in and indulge yourself with some good food. Our entire experience was excellent, the service was good, although there was only one waitress and she could've used some help, but she was keeping up with all the tables she had, she checked on us regularly and we didn't feel rushed. Everything we ordered was well prepared, nicely presented, and tasted really good! I like the fact that the food is not oily and the place feels clean all the way to the kitchen. I can't rave more about this place, I knew it was going to be good, but my expectations were exceeded as far as food goes. The gentleman at the door, who appeared to be the owner, needs to cheer up a bit more, maybe tired? Or having staffing issues? I'm not sure, but it's definitely not justifiable. A better attitude goes a long way with customers and staff. All the best and keep it up! Recommendations: spring rolls, pad thai, basil fried...

Just like a book cover, I've totally misjudged this restaurant. Every time I drive by here, the parking lot just seems so empty, so I didn't think twice about going to eat there when deciding where to go out to eat. Finally swung by, and the place was packed! Well, I might as well try it. I was not disappointed! I got the Brown Curry w/chicken. It had a really good flavor. Actually, it would be the perfect dish to get started eating Curry. The atmosphere was surprisingly large and very authentic looking. Based on price, food, and speedy service, I'd have to say you gotta try this place. NOTE: If this review has helped you in any way, PLEASE like this review so it can be elevated faster for the restaurant to be informed of how well that they are doing! If you have a different experience than I had, I'd love to know about your experience to see where our differences were. Thanks again for reading my review.

One star for my server being polite , understanding kids order and seating arrangements. Jasmine tea tasted nothing like jasmine. I didn’t taste their curry yet. Spring roles just had lettuce and cabbage and barely had any glAss noodles. Requested eggs on side for pad Thai. Noodle were not the pad Thai noodle and tasted bad, no flavor. Eggs tasted like they were fried in oil that was reused and reused yucky and greasy. I told server that food was bad and I cannot eat that, I was just given my bill and charged. My toddler enjoyed her side of steamed veggies and rice noodle. I was disappointed for paying for something that’s tasted bad and was not were near Thai food, at-least the noodle, sauce and basic appetizer.
