I want to be clear here. My rating of my review is regarding the SERVICE of Jos A Bank WINTER PARK, FL. location, and is NOT reflecting the quality of suits and shirts, nor is it reflecting other locations.
Me and my wife went here seeking a suit custom made due to my shoulder issues. They had the perfect fit one that made me almost want to cry in happiness. All these years I have had horrible experiences or mediocre suits. However they had to have it shipped and tailored, yadda yadda yadda at a cost of 872.52. We agreed to get it, since he (jorge or javier - spanish employee) told us it will arrive before our engagement photo shoot, and before our wedding and it would be finished before then also. We stressed this.....a lot...... To be cautious we wanted a back up plan. We looked around and found an alternative. It was cheaper BUT less quality and less comfortable. But it WORKED as an Alternative. It was a cheap expense and was a backup. I am GLAD we did this because JoS A Bank product didn't come in until last week on Thurs or Fri when he called me to tell me it came in... which is TOO LATE we already had our engagement photos, and our wedding is THIS MONDAY coming up and it hasn't even been tailored. Mind you we cancelled the order after the photoshoot and the employee didn't even call me back to acknowledge the cancellation due to failing to meet our timeline as promised, and has just called me back 3 weeks later AFTER we filed a dispute with credit card company disputing the full amount. We spoke to the mgr on the phone whom told us the sales rep will call us back by no later than tomorrow... Which was 3 weeks later. As of today Jos A Bank has refunded the $772.52 of the 872.52 that was paid and the remaining $100 is still being disputed. Be careful shopping here.

Your reputation is what your employees make of it. I came in thinking positive, left wondering what happened here.
TLDR: Great suits, long waiting if customizing, possible poor employees, long refund process, very very poor communication, possible just a very bad store location that may want to avoid and choose an alternative location, didn't meet timeline needs...
Read moreI just wanted to express my sincere gratitude and Thanks for the excellent and attentive service I got at the Winter Park store. My pants for my existing suit needed to be altered but it was in Wisconsin. I came in on a Sunday 6 days before my daughters wedding needing a new suit. I was going to be on a business trip that week and then travel to WI and didn't want to pack the suit for the trip. So I had called the store and headed over when I got there I explained my first option was to a suit and shirt picked out and call the Jos A. Banks store in Brookfield, WI to see if they had what I needed. Have me fitted for the pants so we could provide the measurements to the store in Wisconsin so they could have the suite ready for Saturday. My salesperson Titus was very helpful and patient with picking out the suit and shirt. Once selected we call the Brookfield store but they didn't have a coat in my size nor the vest. We explained to the Store Manager Miguel in the Brookfield store that we would mark the pants for the fit and overnight the suit to them so they could do the alterations and steam press the suit so it would be ready to go.
Lucia was very helpful in assisting Titus in getting the logistics of the shipping, communicating with Miguel on what needed to be done and when to expect the suit. Miguel received the suit on Tuesday afternoon made the alterations pressed the suit and I picked it up Wednesday late afternoon. Fit was spot on I picked out a tie and I was ready for my Daughter's big day. I had many comments on how great the suit looked. ...
Read moreI want to be clear, the staff at this location is great. They solved every issue I am about to describe and I am grateful for them. However, I want to explicitly talk about issues with the work Jos A. Bank does.
I ordered a custom tux (quite pricey) from them. The entire process took months. They took my measurements and I waited 5 weeks as expected. The tux came and it was made completely wrong, even the staff commented on how incorrect it was. I was surprised but I let them correct it. A few weeks later I came in with a new tux there (they had two bags). The same problem occurred, manufacturing error the same way. They finally got it right on the third try.
Then the tailoring started. It took two tries for the tailor to get it right. I came in to the tux still having marks on it to be tailored even though I got a call saying it’s done. They finally had to tailor it in person while I was there.
I live in Orlando but this place is 40 mins each way. I had to go to this store a total of 7x to get a tux done. Again the staff is great but leave yourself plenty of time for the process.
