TACOS VS PIZZA — Restaurant in Winter Park

I had a feeling we were in for something good when I had the chance to chat with the owner while waiting for our to go order of birria pizza and al pastor tacos and she described all the testing they did to come to their current pizza recipe. I also picked up some new knowledge on the regional variations of birria within Mexico.

I knew we were in for something good when the order was ready and we were both overwhelmed by how intensely good it smelled on the ride home. The taste of everything lived up to the expectations. The pizza and the birria dipping sauce were incredible as were the tacos and even the salsa's they provided. This place is a gem that is outputting unique and exceptionally good food. Up until now I believed Tortas El Rey to have the best al pastor tacos in Orlando, but I think they may be unseated by Tacos vs Pizza.

This is definitely a place where you can tell they care about the food and culture of what they are serving. It's a sit down restaurant (and is quite nice inside), but they seem happy and ready to do takeout orders as well.

I can’t say enough good things about Tacos vs Pizza! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is family friendly, clean, and full of energy. The staff is super friendly and welcoming — you can tell they genuinely care about their customers.

Now the food… absolutely amazing! The tacos are packed with flavor — fresh, perfectly seasoned, and full of authentic taste. And the birria pizza? Unique, crispy, cheesy, and just the right amount of toppings. Delicious!!! It’s the ultimate spot when you can’t decide between tacos or pizza — here, you don’t have to choose!

Taco vs Pizza is a must-try in Orlando! I came hungry and left seriously impressed. I tried a little bit of everything and it was all amazing. The birria pizza and birria calzone were insanely good; super flavorful, cheesy, and just the right amount of messy. The nacho fries with guac on top were loaded and so satisfying, and the wings were crispy and packed with flavor.

For drinks, I had both the Jamaica (hibiscus) and horchata for the first time, both were refreshing and perfectly balanced out all the bold flavors.

And I couldn’t leave without trying dessert. Their flan was smooth and creamy, and the churros were hot, crispy, and coated in just the right amount of cinnamon sugar. So good!

Great food, great vibes, and generous portions. I’ll definitely be back to try even more off the menu....
