Unfortunate that this ice cream shop has a hard time with customer service! We were being helped, tried two ice cream flavor samples for my 8 year old daughter and the boy helping us turned and walked away. Then the second worker ignored us, helped 2 or 3 large groups of people before finally returning to us after we reminded them we were waiting .We must have been waiting patiently for 10+ minutes to be helped the rest of the way. the only saving grace was the CUSTOMER who apologized to us because she realized the worker was ignoring us and helped them before us! It makes me wonder what the reason for our wait was, our money worked the same as everyone elses. If I were the owners, I would retrain the workers because we had plans on stopping there everyday of our vacation but have decided to give our money to a different icecream shop afer our first visit to sheris. 100% recommend the Winthrop Emporium cream instead. This has been my favorite place to visit and go camping growing up. This last visit over the weekend, there was wasps in the candy store. Many of them in the scoop slots where the candy scoops are. While getting candy for my kids many of the candy had body parts from the wasps and I had to investigate for stingers. The workers had to have known as wasps were flying around inside the shop and hovering over the candy, and they were just standing at the counter whispering. This is very dangerous for children consumption, and God forbid if someone came in allergic to wasps. The cleanliness of this store has never been the best, this was the first time my children wanted to try the candy you can scoop on your own.
